My sisters won one of those million dreams the VERY FIRST MINUTE we walked into Magic Kingdom for our very 1st Disney visit. Dad & I walked in first with my 3 year old sister, while mom & my other sister were doing bag check, and a guy in a dark blue & white uniform (I'm guessing one of the streetmosphere cops?) came up to my dad and I and said "Sir, you have an urgent call to meet with Cinderella!" And he was utterly confused (as was I!) and signed a time sheet, and as he left my mom & sister came up and we got to tell them we were just called to meet with her, to which my sister freaked and my mom was jaw-dropped! I decided to skip, cause I've never been good at talking to characters, so I was let go while they got their magical moment. They got pins, a picture frame of the castle signed (with said pins in the photo), and quite a few pictures with Cinderella. A few days later my 3 year old sister got her own magical moment as well. She was dead-tired in her stroller, in a Tinkerbell dress that she got day 1 and would *not* get out of, and a cast member came over and said that she was the most adorable thing she'd seen all day & gave us two "million dreams come true" pins with Tink on it. It's a shame they don't do that anymore, or at least to the extent where they're trying to achieve a million good deeds for families in a year. Hopefully they bring that stuff back cause man oh man, I'm going to remember that for the rest of my life without a doubt!

It wasn’t the same Disney Cruise lines that are out now- I think it was from the Premir Cruise line that I guess Disney was affiliated with in the 80s. We had an great experience during the year of a million dreams! Well always do but that was extra special. Our third daughter had turned 4 and finally was of the height requirement for most of the rides! Minus Everest and rock-n roller coaster. So we took her on Tower of Terror and she LOVED IT! She was this little petite cutie w freckles and the biggest smile. When we were getting off she said “That....was....AWESOME!” She loved it! The cast member heard her and said “you really enjoyed the ride didn’t you! She said yes I wanna go again. The cask ember said “Mom and Dad is it ok? Would you like to go again?” We all said yes of course. So she whisked us all away down a hall and through a regular elevator and then it opened up to the front of the line! The line was a 50 minute wait and we were now first! It was SO special and we will never forget it! That same trip but the next day we went to the Main Street Bakery and my little one wanted a cookie. They instead gave her one of those GIANT pizza sized chocolate chip cookies! For free! It was a trip to remember! Disney is our favorite place on earth!! 🥰👍🏽😍

I did. I was so delighted, I still got to participate! Delayed Magic is still super special. I begged to reimburse her for shipping, but she refused. 2007 we got front line and front row on Everest during year of a million dreams. That was really cool. Also in 2012 after I got engaged I had a matching pin. I got free parking from a kind cast member to celebrate my story.

I think my favorite thing that they did was the "Give a Day, Get a Day" campaign in 2010. It meant that you could sign up to volunteer with a local charity in your hometown for a day and Disney would give you a FREE single day pass to a park of your choosing that year. Me and my mom did it when I was 16 and it was the best since I hadn't been since I was 7. We volunteered at our local science center for a big event they were having in the spring and we got to go to Disney for a day for FREE. Of course we had to pay for flights and our off site hotel and food, but not paying for the tickets made it doable for our tiny single parent self-employed family.

1. Grad Nite 1989 and the Indiana Jones ride had just opened. There were CMs handing out cards that had translations for the writings on the walls. Sponsored by AT&T, of course. It helped pass the time in line. 2. My husband and I were at CA Adventure in 2007. He wanted to go on the bread tour at Boudin Bakery at the Pacific Wharf. Seriously? We live about 20 miles away from Cannery Row. We can see the real thing! But he insisted. We were the only ones there, and as we came out, the Dream Patrol met us with two dream FastPasses. He’s never let me forget it and we have to do the bread tour every time now.

The funniest Disney ad I ever saw was a print ad from long ago. It was Mickey Mouse promoting his favorite brand of rubber pants! (This is what babies used ti wear over their cloth diapers). Apparently, Mickey wasn't embarrassed to say he wore rubber pants!!

My two favorites: The "Little Souvenir" campaign for Disney Cruise Lines. Google it, or search here on KZitem - Not what one expects from Disney advertising. The other is Christmas 1985. They had the Budweiser Clydesdales on Main Street, in full regalia, and as part of the parades. During the day, one could approach and pet the horses and interact with the spokespeople - all in a park that most certainly did not allow alcohol.............

In I think it was 2007 my family and I had season passes to Disneyland. We went multiple times. And did get some million dream prizes nothing super big, but did get Pins, and fast pass lanyards that had a free fast pass for each fast pass ride in the parks. Where you had to break off a plastic tab and the number on the tab had to match the number on the main part of the badge attached to the lanyard. It was awesome! I wish I could have your job of visiting and reviewing all things Disney!!
