Amen!! Carbs are importannnnnt!!
@kobaltkween
Жыл бұрын
Carbs are important for energy for performance and muscle maintenance, but simple carbs equally important to avoid for weight loss. Your body only burns fat for energy when there's no ready glucose in the blood. Studies show it runs on simple carbs much more efficiently, to the point that taking them in during exercise significantly improves athletic performance (running faster, lifting more, showing more endurance, etc.). So yeah, if you spend the day being extremely active and want to maintain, simple carbs like rice are great. If you sit in front of a computer most of your day and want to lose a significant amount of fat, chickpea pasta is cool, but you might want to skip the rice.
