For my fellow chronic illness friends, here's a What I Eat in a Day video sharing my gluten-free and dairy-free recipes and meals. I'm also eating soy-free to help with hormone balance as I am in perimenopause and trying to balance estrogen and progesterone.
I think I actually reached 100 grams of protein without any dairy (and eating mostly real foods), although I did have to add protein powder to help reach the goal. It was challenging but I do think it helped with my overall satiety and blood sugar balance.
How much protein do you think you eat in a day? It's interesting to dig down and figure it out, although I am not usually a big fan of tracking my food or macros.
Remember that everyone is different so please eat according to your individual needs.
