Just an FYI, the chocolate chip cookies at the end are not plant based.. an egg was used and I’m assuming the chocolate chips that were used probably have milk in the ingredient list.

YUM this all looks amazing. I love blending in a piece of real vanilla bean when I make homemade almond milk, but sometimes it's hard to find and it is $$$ so it's not always the best option. I don't know if this would work for this particular cookie recipe, but the "ground flax seed egg" trick works really well in alot of baked goods for anyone looking to avoid the egg. What a great video Cambria!

Hey, I’ve been studying our organism, and I learned that when you run and lose a lot of water + sodium by sweating and breathing, after when we drink a lot of water we feel a dizziness, like gonna faint. That’s Because our body lose too much Na+ and the rest that left in the body we dilute as drinking too much water. This can’t keep the homeostasis in the organism, changing our pressure. The correct is drinking something hypertonic, like water with salt.

We really don’t need that much protein per day, and most Americans consume way too much protein. I suggest everyone calculates how much they actually need... there’s no need to use supplements if you reach that level already through whole foods (which are better for you anyway).

I love your videos!! You are always so positive!! Question about your almond milk: I make mine the same way you do (only using 1 cup of almonds to 4 cups of water). I strain it through a nutmilk bag, but if I'm not using it right away it separates, and leaves behind a thin watery layer and a thick, sediment-like layer. I can shake it or stir it and get it back to looking like milk, but if I'm using it in my coffee, there's always a gritty texture to the almond milk. If I'm using it to make a smoothie, it goes through the blender and there's no texture issue. Does this happen to you (or anyone else reading this comment)? What am I doing wrong?

Do you have uses for the almond pulp? Making it everyday, that's a lot of pulp! I've heard you can dry it in the oven to make almond flour, but have never tried it. Or you can apparently use it in muffins or baked goods, but haven't tried that either! I was on a kick of making almond milk awhile ago, but the pulp just sat in my fridge until it was so old I was afraid to use it! I'd make the milk more often if I had a good use for the pulp... or is it called meal? :)
