Research and more research. I kept seeking better and better info and finally came to the conclusion that the healthiest and best way to lose weight and not feel hungry is to eat plants. Not vegan junk food, but pretty much recipes from whole plant ingredients and no oil or added sugar. They generally have lower calories per serving than animal foods. I've made some walk through social learning units on the topic of whole food plant based eating on my facebook group called "Wholejoy Foodies" facebook.com/groups/wholejoyfoodies

dolphinsflirty you could compare a mars bar to a homade mars bar using dates to put in the center with some almond meal and organic dark chocolate made out of cocoa and coconut nectar. One is made from organic ingredients and one is refined sugar. Equal then out with the same amount of sugar, the organic wholesome one is healthier because it’s not refined sugar it’s natural sugar. Looking at the macros isn’t the only thing, it’s also the ingredients. Dates and fruits have natural occurring sugars which are good for you body and needed. Refined sugar , like table sugar is processed and stripped from any nutrients. Not sure if this helped but just trying to show u that it’s not just the numbers. I would suggest focusing more on the ingredients than macros

Nathalie Emanuelsson “not a good diet” lmao, okay drop your eating routine
@nnathaa

@@emmapolitis7090 It's irrelevant what I eat, no need to feel attacked or defensive. I myself eat mostly and I recommend strongly (if you want a healthy diet, feel no pressure to have one) root vegetables. Spinach, broccoli, aubergine, potato, kale etc. A good diet is filled with root vegetables and a mushroom-based protein, or soya (but some are sensitive to it). I drink 2-3 litre of water every day and I recommend all people to drink it hot, never cold. Don't eat exotic fruits, too much sugar, eat berries. Blueberries are a must (brain berries as some like to call them). I love breed but I stick to breed made of oats, so it got no gluten in it. Also oat in the morning, with seeds and berries. I have oats, with lactose free yoghurt, (1,2 sugar in it) for acids, with chia seeds, poppy seeds, flaxseed and sunflower seeds and blueberries. Together with ginger tea. No coffee at all. My carbohydrate is made by beans, mostly white ones into pasta. If you don't have problems with acids, then go with water instead. Anyway, a good diet is full of fibre, water, root vegetables and seeds. No exotic/sugar fruits. If you want vitamin c, then eat root vegetables, they got tons of it. And as always, never ever eat something you don't like or want. Food should never be a chore! It should be fun, and the goal is to have a fun and healthy diet you actually like. Otherwises you will not stick to it and develop a bad relationship with food. As for myself, I eat really healthy when it comes to meals. But you better believe it I eat tons of chocolate and chips. I ofc try to eat as little sugar as possible, and look for chips with none in it and chocolate with as little as possible, but I eat chocolate a couple times every week. It's all about the balance. But I can't stand people saying something is healthy when it's not, but it's okay to not always, every day, all year long be fucking perfect, bc we ain't robots :)

Ella Bosk just eating healthy, my diet consisted a lot on egg white, chicken breast, broccoli , fish and white rice. For snack I just had fruit and here and there a peanut butter sandwich. Walking it’s good for losing weight but in my case it wasn’t as effective because your body gets use to the same workout and you gotta change the routine. I started weight lifting, one day I did abs and back, the I did leg and run for about 15-20 minutes, next day I would do chest and arms, etc. I started going to the gym around 5 to 6 days a week for about 2 hrs everyday. In the month o July I lost about 20 pounds which is not healthy but I was eating good and I just made sure I eat a lot of protein. In the summer I average losing 4-5 pounds a week.

Also make sure not to eat bread if anything get this whole wheat ones. No soda or anything with high sugar. Just water and lots of it throughout the whole day. Just keep motivating yourself. i'm a lean muscle, cardio machine in my 50's, and I guarantee you that I eat more every day than anyone else who's posting here. i never do portion control, but I've also done two really important things that GUARANTEE that i won't undo the work that I've done - I've educated myself on nutrition (so i know what everything i put into my body does), and I've reconditioned my body to NEVER have any cravings of any kind - ever. bad fats, excessive sugar and salt, alcohol form the core of these and they are all gone. it's not easy, it takes discipline, it's not something that you can just flick a switch and make it happen, and it also takes time. my point is that YOU decide what is your normal, but the changes need to be gradual, and it's REALLY important to expect 'bumps in the road'. exercise is equally important, because mind and body and linked. there is no better investment you can make to your life than a healthy mind and body. $$$ can't nurture either, or save them if they decide to check out...good luck to everyone!
