+exo_oxo If the sun caused skin cancer, humans would be extinct by now. It's the chemicals we put on and in our body that causes that kind of reaction to sunlight, especially sunscreens and pesticides. Eat good and don't put a million toxins on your body and there's no problem.

the sun does cause skin cancer.. it's the UV radiation that comes out of the sun that damages the DNA in our cells, sometimes causing mutations which result in cancerous growths
@aubrianna8881
7 жыл бұрын
Golden Autumn that's not how evolution works. people usually get skin cancer after the age of reproduction so this factor would not cause us to "go extinct". also, cancer is caused by mutations in your dna which is stored in the nucleus. around the nucleus there are pigments called melanin, which protect the DNA from being affected by the sun. when exposed to the sun, these pigments are damaged causing them to mutate and darken. after the melanin has been damaged the suns rays can cause mutations in our DNA that would cause uncontrolled mitosis and melanoma will develop.

hi beth. thank you for your concern!, I've had so many test and ER visits and doctors and took 4 years. finally was told to take meds that's not fda approved for gastroparisis. I've done that too and get so sick. so I decided to just cut all the food out they said I can't eat but e end foods like oatmeal hurt so I just learn from what doesn't hurt and try to stick with those but its limiting and so hard. then I try to introduce it back and it gets me. I've also tried leaky gut remedies ....so idk. anyway thank you. gall bladder was a ruled out test.

You like lentils? Look up "Laura in the kitchen" Homemade Lentil soup recipe, episode 714 (on youtube). It is to die for. I make it without the pasta and it is fabulous. Vegan, hearty and so good. You could also leave out the olive oil if you wanted. It is not needed for the flavor at all.

I have a question about all those legumes. I don't necessarily want to eat meat so I try to eat beans and lentils and stuff. Also I am gluten intolerant. But if I would eat so many beans and lentils (and cabbage for example or cauliflower) on a day as you did on this day, I would die from all the flatulence. Do you not have problems with that?
@SpaceRobot05

Not vegan myself, but I understand that soaking legumes overnight can help some people to digest them more comfortably and reduce gas issues. Might be worth a try. :)
@alexisjaquez6255

You should rinse your beans before you eat them because the water that they're in is what makes you get gas.

It might be that your system just doesn't like legumes. I had to give up all beans and legumes myself a while back because they cause digestive discomfort. I'm gluten intolerant, as well, and it isn't uncommon for people like us to have a rough time consuming other grains and legumes.
