@@IdeasInHat Mastery was absolutely amazing to me, but way too long. If you ever consider reading it, I recommend getting the concise version.

The ones that stood out for me personally this year were Valuation (mcckinsey) ; Lord of Light (sci-fi / fantasy novel); Autobiography of a Yogi; Faceless (Crime thriller)

I read like 60 something books this year. But for context, I'm disabled and unable to work. So I have ALOT more time on my hands than most. Plus some of them were short books (like less than 300 pages), and some were poetry, which is typically pretty easy to quickly get through even when it's a bigger book. As a side note, some of books you can fly through because the writing style makes them very easy to read.

60 is nice. And yeah, poetry counts as just turning pages unless you do analysis. I started the norton anthology of poetry 3 months ago, the poems in there are a bit longer but it reads sooo quickly.

Not yet. I want to read both, but there are sooo many good books on my current reads list, lol. I am currently reading A.N. Wilsons biography of Darwin. He writes well. Thanks for following!

The Balkans is a great book, gained valuable knowledge after reading it. Read it right after The Silk Roads by Peter Frankopan

If i may recommend a philosophy & a philosophy of religion book, are you familiar with: Objects and Persons - Trenton Merricks (the foundational book for mereological nihilism) The Kalam Cosmological Argument - William Lane Craig (a attempt to prove God's existence)
