You are beautiful, Sophie! I had a "mini" facelift (lower half of face) 3 years ago and love the way I look now. I had lost a lot of weight and my double chin turned into a crepe-y turkey waddle. I was 57 and I'm 61 now. I've gained weight and lost it again and my neck still looks amazing. My unsolicited advice for anyone reading this is not to get anything done until you absolutely can't stand how you look anymore. Wait as long as you can. [I didn't have my eyes done because I don't want to look like a surprised plastic lady.]

I really don't have a problem with plastic surgery re aging but I can't help but feel women need to know when to stop. You can't look 30 forever.

Hi Sophie, thank you for sharing. I've been doing face yoga for a year and my cheeks have lifted and built up to more of an apple shape. I also naturally erased a strong defined line across my forehead that I thought I would need medical attention to get rid of but, upon some research into botox I'm glad I never did. The reason is because the skin and muscles are attached to each other, so if you freeze the muscle, the skin has no chance of staying firm leading to botox users needing face lifts. Surprisingly, the face muscles are so small so they start to build and change really quickly. Just a mention, much love.

If you are considering getting laser for hyperpigmentation, make sure that it is hyperpigmentation and not melasma. If you do laser therapy on melasma, it can make it worse! Thanks Sophie!

If someone is 22 and the skin is so dry, but also if someone is older, they should first try to check what they are feeding their body and adjust it if necessary, instead of trying to combat dryness from the outside. Dryness comes from within. And this is directly related to nutrition and the psyche. And I only mean that with love and because I want people to be aware of it 💕

I wouldn’t do filler or Botox. Will be interesting to see how people will look 10-20 years from now. Young people just look older with this shit . Why not try good skincare, sleep, not too much alcohol. This goes a long way. Please don’t think you have to buy a lot of stuff and spend a fortune on treatments. I’ve seen too many botched faces online to not want to do anything.

I’ve been using Botox for 16 years. It totally wears off. Fillers on the other hand are a little bit different. People confuse filler and Botox way too much. Your body will metabolize Botox much faster than filler.. I one time had lip filler, but I did have it removed. I will say, however, under the eyes is terrible. It never fully goes away, and I had a condition where my eye started getting puffy and puffier, and I ended up having to get a lower blepharoplasty, and the doctor said that it looks like the muscle was gray and spongy.. she had it sent out because she had never seen it before and it was filler

Hey Sophie and David! Love that second channel, too. :-) When you talked about face lifting Dr. Amir Karam came to my mind. I find his YT channel (DrAmirKaram) to be very informative about how the skin ages and a hollistic approach to it, that's why I just felt I had to share this with you. Best wishes to you!🙂♥

Hi Sophie and David! Happy Friday! Regarding Instagram and other social media platforms, I really only do IG and my main purpose is to promote my books and share aspects of my life. It's easy and fun. I never wanted to get on Twitter, I was so put off by certain people who used it. I don't do TikTok either. If you keep up with all these platforms, you'd never have time for anything else! Hope you and the bunnies have a lovely weekend! xx

Love your videos especially ones with both you and David in them. ❤ That was such a weird transition from talking about botox to death. Lol 😆 I have watched some videos on KZitem about near death experiences (NDE for short) and found them interesting and oddly reassuring that maybe there is a type of heaven after we die. Anyways, love you both from America! ❤ 😊

Due to aging, my cheeks started looking sunken and not plump like yours. Yesterday I had my second treatment of Restylane and I must say it really does fill in that area nicely. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

The natural injector here on YT is a great person to watch as far as injectables go. I work In aesthetics and it’s definitely easy to get sucked into doing a lot of unnecessary procedures. Sculptra is amazing! Look into that. Best thing I’ve done personally. As far as things like laser go that a big area where people can get talked into doing something that’s not needed. Idc what anyone says. Nothing is really going to “tighten” your face and graceful aging takes many different approaches. Not all lasers are created equal and can cause more issues than you started with. Peels are great! Microneedling can be done at home for so much less. Most skin care products in spas are marked up 50%. Like Skin better, Alastin. Do not buy private label products. These are typically marked up 500-1000 percent. Not worth it… 🚨 DO NOT PUT FILLER IN YOUR FACE…

I just had sculpture the other day and the beautiful bruises to prove it, but this is my third treatment with it, and I will say that it is amazing. Not painful and it looks the most natural that I’ve ever seen without getting a facelift.

Thanks! 😊 What are private label products?
@duchess_of_petty9323
Күн бұрын
@@hannahv7474 private label products are products that are made at a central lab and that somebody who owns Spa salon or facial space whatever can put their name on it and claim it as their own they pay for that privilege. So if you go to about face aesthetics. And they have product that’s labeled about face aesthetics. There’s nothing special about it at all. It could be used by 100 different people with different names.

@@hannahv7474 a lot of med spas will carry their own skincare line and sell it. They will use a skincare company to fill orders then slap their own business name on it. Not saying the products aren’t good but the mark up is huge! I use to do the purchase orders. For example we had a lip plumper that cost $11 per tube for us but sold at $45. Face wash for $8 but sold for $40, etc…

I had chemical peels done at a dermatology clinic. I know some med spas/clinics really like to upsell products and claim you'll get 10x better results if you use the products they recommend. The dermatologist I went to didn't upsell stuff they just provided the service you wanted and did it which I appreciated. I did have moderate acne scars and still have acne scars but is has improved drastically from the treatments I have had done. I did so many treatments such as micro needling with radio frequency, regular mico needling, fraxel (laser), halo (laser), and two chemical peels so far. All of these do stimulate collagen so it is good for anti aging. But I will say I did get the best results with chemical peels. Dermatologists have access to stronger formulas and can really give a great result but just be sure the dermatologist is experienced with stronger formulas. With acne scars it's a journey and process so I will continue to get more chemical peels but it's also good to know that it's great for anti aging as well since it stimulates collagen. Unlike laser which makes your skin feel like it's on fire (which I remember you saying in previous videos, I too know from experience) for a few hours chemical peels have a burning feel but it only lasts until either the formula they use self neutralizes or the dermatologist applies a neutralizing solution. I'd totally recommend chemical peels if you find the right place to go. But having said that I still would use those other modalities for anti aging. Take care!
