In the NCERT book of class 8th the same lesson is available there with the name called ,"tsunami""....& Literally I and my friends was only and only interested in this lesson because of thing which is mentioned in the lesson like as sea , mountain... otherwise lol rest of book...😊😊

The reason for this chapter in class 8th book is the same Tsunami of 2004. Before that there was no such separate chapter for Tsunami.
