I got challenge coin over 20 years ago, but as a foreigner I did not know what it is. It was just beautiful token for me, I was not aware of traditions. I was serving in UN peace keeping mission in former Yugoslavia. I was assigned to US batallion for 2 weeks, and they give me their challenge coin when I returned back to my own unit. I still got the coin, it is important memory for me. Most interesting thing for me as a foreigner is that US Army has seen a lot of effort to make special coin for short mission. That US unit served there only 18 months, but they had stamped special coin for that.

As someone who has collected challenge coins throughout my whole life, it was really nice to find your channel! I’ve subscribed and I look forward to other interesting videos! My coins are not just random. They reflect my military career and all the places that I have been to or experiences… It’s my running history! Thank you for doing this video for us

My wife gave a set of Masonic coins for my birthday. Very thoughtful of her.

I have a Korean challenge coin 1950 to 51 with the reverse buffalo. But my question is does anyone know who actually manufactured that particular coin. I have been unable to obtain this information.

wasn't there a scene in the midway movie, where Patrick Wilson shows his challenge coin?
