This video is an example of perfect educational video: it's well researched, gives context, explains what, and manages to do all that in a witty and in an engaging way. ❤ Thank you, Jonathan. Keep up the great work.

This is some great teaching - giving the purpose of why the CRS is needed (which I've struggled to comprehend) from the "ground-up"/first principles was really helpful and doing the video live (like searching in google) really makes you feel you are a part of it - thanks for making this!

Thankfully, I don't need documentations. I can just watch this video for developing concepts. Excellent ❤

Ironically I work in the oil industry in Iraq which is why I'm researching CRS. This video cleared a lot of questions I had and the way you present the video is very intriguing. I'm stunned that this video isn't seen by more people. Thanks a lot.

Useful video indeed. Learned many things I kind of knew but didn't know if you know what I mean. I mean, we all recognize the complexities of this world related to many things, but we seldom go into the respective rabbit holes to learn more about them. It makes a lot of sense that the EPSG wants to know where all the oil in the world is so they can bring freedom and democracy to whoever refuses to give it to them.

Hi Jonathan, thank you for your great video. And I am wondering why I need to use {'init': 'epsg:5070'} instead of "epsg:5070" when setting the crs for dataframe. If I just did "epsg:5070", it will return an "inf" coordinate.

GDA94 is total garbage, because Australia moves soooo fast... that is why gda2020 is dynamic mandatery.
