I have fibromyalgia and I had a headache for 3 days, I couldn't take it anymore and I decided that I was going to change everything to be happy! I stopped eating gluten, lactose, processed foods and limiting sugar! I went to do 2 Japanese acupuncture sessions and I also did osteopathy because I had a sore neck muscle. The Doctor. told me to do vitamin d3, omega, b-complex and magnesium! I had migraines every week and I've been without them for 3 weeks now and I'm feeling so much better! I can already do my things at home! Do not give up! and courage

I don't have a gallbladder either, and have pain only on my right side of my back. Was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, but I just pressed where my gallbladder used to be, and my back pain instantly went away. There's definitely something to this, not that all FM patients will have the same experience. I was diagnosed with gastritis yesterday, and have an ultrasound scheduled for Monday. Hopefully they will find something like stones in the ducts that could explain all of my pain. 🤞

Fibromyalgia is a neurological issue. There has been recent studies that prove it. Your pain signals are damaged. There is no cure but with physical therapy, acupuncture, changes in diet, etc you can improve your quality of life. Fibromyalgia patients tend to have low levels of vitamin D. Certain foods, weather, too much activity flares up your pain. I personally stay away from sugar the best that I can. Tomato based foods flare up my pain and Chronic Fatigue. You should keep a journal of the foods that you eat. Cheese causes my Fibromyalgia to flare. That’s why you’re in Chronic pain 24hrs a day. Plus Fibromyalgia is accompanied by Chronic Fatigue and memory issues. Having a good neurologist that deals and understands fibromyalgia is a blessing. Fibromyalgia is debilitating. My ligaments on my ankles are stretched out, so I have to wear ankle braces, I also have bulging discs on my neck, sciatic nerve issues, pinched nerves, rotator cuff surgery etc. Again, Fibromyalgia is debilitating. Prior to Fibromyalgia I was perfectly healthy with no pain at all. I never had any issues with my spine, neck, ankles, stomach, fatigue and memory. Don’t believe everything you hear. Do your own research as well. Join a Fibromyalgia support group. Oh yeah, I don’t a gallbladder. I believe what the doctor in video is saying. It’s a way of ruling out Fibromyalgia. I’m just talking about my own experience and what I’ve learned from my neurologist. God bless you all. I wish all the best.

Fibromyalgia is a diagnosis of exclusion. It is not a disease, it is not a disorder. It is closer to a syndrome than anything, but only in symptoms. They do not know the cause, but very likely, there are multiple causes. I had it for two decades. It turned out to be a vitamin deficiency in my case, something a test would not find. I only discovered after trying everything. It is very easy to get a diagnosis and I do blame part of that on doctors who are too lazy to do the actual work in figuring out the cause of a problem. To say it is a "neurological" issue. Yes, I thought the same, until I figured out the root cause in my case.

@Skeptics we love you anyway - I don't have a gall bladder and yet my phrenic nerve is being compressed at my neck which is where the nerve originates. Because of this I have a right sided elevation of my diaphragm which can ultimately cause me to lose 1/2 of my lung capacity. I find it is triggered when I bend over, compressing my abdomen. Again, no gall bladder involved at all. This is caused by my sarcoidosis affecting my musculoskeletal and nervous systems.

I continually try different herbal/vitamin options thinking it may get more manageable. Currently waiting on magnesium glycinate arriving. Thinking of trying more iron in my diet and maybe b1 vitamin. Although I already take a B vitamin complex. I'd like to take a cbd that worked, but don't think anything is available in UK, I'm in Scotland. I don't want to take drugs from doctor, they have caused other issues in the past. Pharma company's are just cashing in continually. Some days I'm keeping my head above water & next minute I feel like I'm drowning. @@donzabonza2026I am a caregiver for a woman with every issue: cancer survivor, with 23 stents, diabetic, no gallbladder, was on those terrible bone density drugs (ruins your teeth and more),, former smoker and an alcoholic (no alcohol 38 years now) fibromyalgia (of course!) Sjogren's, right shoulder neck pain (has a pain management doctor) on steroids for years (that will ruin your gut!) etc. You may find some symptom relief but you can't afford to not address and reverse the causes. My client was diagnosed with Parkinsons last year. But, you will find people can develop Parkinsons symptoms from long use of prescription drugs. This is what her home visit doctor told her; they don't think she has Parkinsons like Michael Foxx. Some nutient deficiencies are caused by sugar, high glycemic carbs, so called vegetable oils, leaky gut, and lack of nutrients in one's diet. Must repair the gut. There's a dental component to this picture also; mouth biofilm. So, though B complex is needed, it won't be very effective against high blood sugar or diets over loaded with omega 6, which in the U.S., is practically in every frozen, canned and boxed package including some that claim they are keto friendly. There's no such thing as a wheat, rice or oat keto bread. Each of us has research to do and changes to make. Many need to start with nothing more than organic beef bone broth and fasting and getting off prescription drugs safely. Many youtubers who have done this; find them and those like Dr Berg. Fibromyalgia isn't a disease; it's a label for some symptoms. So they have symptoms caused by something; they weren't born with it, usually. Again, gut is likely an issue if not the issue. People have adopted that wrong low fat diet for decades & not only cut out fats needed for myelin sheath, but switched to those horrible toxic, literally poison, "vegetable oils" which used to be used only for engine lubrication! You have to reverse that. And more: most of us don't get near infrared light (Dr Seheult) nor are we grounded (see the Earthing channel) nor do we have enough carbon dioxide (see bag breathing etc) and we have leaky guts! Nor do we get proper sleep (Dr Seheult) nor do we fast (see Dr Jamnadas). Check out those on youtube with testimonials about carnovoire diet and fasting.

I finally had a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia last year 2019, I have seen several doctors, specialists, physiotherapists, psychologists and I have complained to them all about the same symptoms for over 35 years! I was constantly fobbed off with disinterest and without any awareness of what Fibromyalgia is. Often it mimics other symptoms if you suffer with auto immune disease which I have and also osteoarthritis. But if a person suffers from chronic pain, joint, muscles, chronic fatigue, insomnia, nausea, ibs, flu like symptoms with an aching body, myofascial pain, anxiety, panic attacks, depression all of which are symptoms of Fibromyalgia then the Gall bladder surely cannot be added to this list! Mostly I believe Fibromyalgia is triggered by stress and trauma my trauma and stress has been ongoing since childhood. I know if I suffer from stress I get a flare up which is nearly every week, I work hard to alter my perceptions of stress. I have tried and still take magnesium citrate, zinc, vitamin C,D, l tryptophan, Spirulina, msm, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar and loads of other healthy options. I am a vegetarian (for the past year), I eat low gluten, dairy, eggs, sugar, no junk food or processed. I also practice intermittent fasting. I practice Tai Chi, Qigong, yoga, pilates, do weights and cardio, I walk and exercise everyday and I meditate. I am learning to practice self hypnosis and accupressure, I take daily magnesium and aromatherapy baths. It doesn't take my pain away I feel it 24/7 but if I don't try to help myself then nobody will do it for me. All I would say to anyone suffering from Fibromyalgia is don't give up, try to alter your diet, lifestyle and do as many natural well being therapies and exercise options. All of these options you can do without spending money.
@cleopatrademers2395
4 жыл бұрын
I agree. My suspicion is that fibro is triggered by trauma. I've had it for about 22 years and was diagnosed after stressing about my mother's and sister's terminal illnesses on top of other traumatic events l did not deal with. No quality sleep for about two years, waking up every half hour on top of a stressful job while waiting to see who would die first. You cannot go on without proper sleep and your body will soon break down. I am better now after almost considering suicide from enduring so much pain. Before l was a 10+ where now l am a 3 or 4. Still have days where l suffer especially when the seasons change and cannot stand extremely high or low temperatures. Suffer from eye problems and headaches still, but nothing like it was before. Did a lot of alternative methods, but it helped that l cried. Sounds strange, but l never cried. I had to go get therapy to learn to cry and the more l cried, the better l got. It's not good to keep things bottled up and buried. It will bite you in the butt. No kidding. Your mind and body are one.

I have read a couple of studies but they are a bit vague, the problem with studies is they are often on rodents and not conclusive. I think many syndromes, diseases and mental health problems are psychosomatic as our mind and bodies are one and if we don’t have balance or homeostasis one or the other or becomes unwell. I also think a virus or traumas trigger illness especially if it goes undiagnosed and especially if there’s repeated childhood trauma. Thank you 🙏

If you look into it, the term fibromyalgia literally means "my muscle and tissue pain". And other sites have stated fibro means "whole body pain". Doctors often give fibromyalgia as a diagnosis to say that they have not a single clue what is causing the pain, and that the person just has alot of pain. To most docs, fibromyalgia is just a fancy way of saying "we dont know. You have whole body pain"

I've been fighting fibromyalgia for years, and it's an all-over body pain every day. In fact, I'm currently flaring. I usually go through what we call fibro- flu. Running a fever of 103.7. This is on a regular basis for me. The pain is so terrible. It feels like a legend of demons ripping at my body. I've had my gallbladder checked several times, and it's perfectly normal. No issues. Also, fibromyalgia isn't a muscle issue. It stems from the central nervous system. Can it affect the muscles and joints? Absolutely - and usually that comes from "favoring," which is walking or body movement while in pain. The body starts to condition itself while trying to accommodate from the fibromyalgia pain itself. Fibromyalgia, for me, is a living nightmare. My fibromyalgia began after two spinal surgeries , at least, it's the only thing that makes sense why and when it began. I've been on every pain med known to take for pain. Even the meds I take now barely takes the pain away. It only takes some of the edge off. My pain management doc is now talking about putting me on an internal pain pump because we have exhausted everything. I've procrastinated the pump because mentally, I'm not sure I'm ready to even take that step. Also, there are an incredible number of symptoms that come with fibromyalgia other than just the pain itself, which I've taken on while fighting this disease. There's a lot more to fibromyalgia than what seems to be a simple diagnosis. especially when doctors have not even figured out this disease. Every doctor in the past , before going to pain management ,didn't even want to treat me - not even my rheumatologist. My second visit with my rheumatologist? He sent me to pain management. They do not want to treat what they do not understand. Interestingly enough, every fibro patient is different. Some have a more mild case and experience the occasional flare-up, while others experience debilitating bedridden ongoing pain. This disease has turned my life upside down. When I once was a very social person, I rarely get out of my house now.

Chrissy, I hear you. Same. I rarely walk now. If I do, it's painful. I've tried everything. Meds, blood tests, walking little by little to wire brain differently, yoga, chi gong. I don't know how to explain that walking hurts. I mean, I'm a human. And we walk. I can't even do that so I'm debilitated. I used to be social, travel, love of life. Now I just live each day hoping I can get through it.

The pains up and down like a yo yo. The numbness and fatigue gets me down. I just can't help but wonder how misdiagnosed it is? I see people in my groups and in life who seem to have a set of different symptoms entirely and they have the same diagnosis. The only seemingly important commonality is, they are blue collar people not wealthy. I have been observing this decade now. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. And it is all over body pain with a host of other symptoms. I have the trigger points. Then at different times and degrees I will have spasms, sharp knife stabbing, numbness, joint pain wrist ankles knees, tingling in both arms sometimes legs its like my skin is crawling from the inside I can't sit still. Extreme fatigue. I started keto back in July. First month I had amazing energy and alertness but I have noticed my fibromyalgia symptoms increase back up again with the weather changing. Started get the flashing light in corner or right eye at night. Last week my flare up hit me at night my left arm legs feet went numb waking me up. My neck head was in pain. When I got up to use restroom I was so off balance i walked right into the dresser. The next day every move I was about to fall out. During the winter my symptoms are 10x worse. The worst flare up I had I was out of work for a week I couldn't drive or nothing. My gallbladder was examed beginning of the year after I had surgery for fibroids and the doctor to me there was nothing wrong with my gallbladder. My nerves are over active all over my body, if I'm not being stabbed I'm on fire or both, even worse when on pms. when a bad flare comes l literally can't think straight, in a span of a minute I would forget what I was doing, have slurred speech or struggle just to say a simple word. It really hurts the most when doctors seemingly don't believe what me and others like me experience on the daily when it comes to fibromyalgia. And BTW my vitamin d levels are good as well, but yet I'm still in pain and currently my lyrica has stopped working for me. And lyrica only controls the tingling sensation in my arms does nothing for all my other symptoms. Dr. Berg I really enjoy your channel by for me you are so wrong when it comes to fibromyalgia.

A little of my story- 15 years old I was in back seat of a friends car. Light turns green (he was a fairly new driver) he steps on it while car in front of him barely started moving. We crashed I was young and dumb with no seatbelt. Head smashed into the seat ahead of me. I did not go to docs after that but I think that is what cause most of my issues. My mom and aunt have fibro- I suffered with pain taking my moms muscle relaxers and tons of ibuprofen for a few years. At 18 I had my gallbladder removed. @ 19 I finally went to a rheumatologist and was finally diagnosed with fibro though for years I already knew I had it. Pain got worse- I was a lab rat. I turned to pain meds that didn’t even help the pain became addicted got help with suboxone which helps the pain but I’m tapering off so I know that pain is going to come rushing back once I am fully tapered. Now so still have pain now but I know it’s going to be worse once off this med. I very much blame fibro for all the trouble I’ve had in my life. I am working out and eating Whole Foods now but any tips that would help would be greatly appreciated. I refuse to go back on trial with medications.

Hi Jane, It sounds like maybe it could be skeletal fluorosis caused by a bio-accumulation in the body of toxic fluoride residues that have found their way into our food and water supply. I just began detoxing with borax (boron) and nascent iodine-from my research the only compounds that will effectively remove fluoride from the bone and soft tissues. I also am doing yoga, infrared sauna, and use an inversion table daily to cope with the spinal stiffness and debilitating nerve pain. Just my .02 cents from a fellow visual artist :) Best of life, Keith

Artist Jane Bush Also change diet to more alkaline foods, eliminate gluten, vegetarian diet had helped me tremendously. 1500mg Thiamine (B-1) with Magnesium helps me with the Neuropathy. You can find info on it oblige. I found this idea in a blog. Saved me so much. Also, we need to clean out our bodies and detox. Look into The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Cleanse by Andreas Moritz book. It's simple and cheap to do at home. Read the book though especially special circumstances and symptoms to look out for. The book recommends you do this cleanse every month or two until no more stones in liver and gallbladder. Important to do hydrotherapy before and after the cleanse. It's all explained in the book. I'm getting ready to do my second cleanse. Even my memory was improved after first cleanse. Symptoms will return after a time, however, if you do not continue releasing the stones. I have a feeling fibromyalgia is related to the body being too toxic and this cleanse cleans the organs that cleanse your blood of toxins. Our environment is so toxic that we are reaching the out where our liver and gallbladder cannot handle more toxin. For those that do not have gallbladder, the book talks about this. The gallbladder regulates how much bike is released. People eventually develop issues after removing gallbladder. I'm so sorry to hear of anyone that has to do this surgery. I think maybe we could have just cleaned out our organs :-/ I believe this doctor paid with his life for releasing all the information in his books.

With all do respect Dr. Berg fibro is not only said symptoms which I do not have, I have 17 out of the 18 major pressure points that are extremely painful to touch, ex: back ribs if touched with only very small amount of pressure it can no longer be touched for hours after that. Fibro is also debilitating fatigue, inflammation in the joints, muscle pain, anything muscle really lol and too much lactic acid in the soft tissues. Now that being said, I have been keto for 4mths because of T2D, weight loss is slow with small pauses but making slow progress, BG is very near normal ranges without meds AND joint pain has subsided by at least half, but PMS kicks me in the rear hard every month setting me back 10-12 days. I am also struggling huge with potassium intake and keeping it. (diarrhea)

Waiting to see rheumatologist now. So far, taking melatonin gives a little relief but no pain medicine has helped at all. As a mom I feel so helpless that I can't take this pain from her. My own believe is that Fibromyalgia is a calcification of the soft tissue in the upper back, shoulder and neck area because the spine from C1-T6 carries the entire load of the head, neck, shoulders, arms and the hands. The pain radiates from ~T12 through C1 because we no longer have the daily required nutrients to keep the vertebrae bone, discs and the central nerveous system (which sits on your upper back like a monkey) healthy. Soft tissue calcification + deficiency in nutrient that maintains a healthy myelin sheath is the cause. Hence the word Fibro + myalgia. Solution is take high amounts of Vitamin K2 (MK-7) + adequate D3 and take B1/B12 supplement (nutritional yeast + methylcobalamin) for the myelin sheath. Everybody is deficient in B vitamins and 99.9% is deficient in K2, xept for people that already know about it and are doing something about it.

If the natural curves of the spine and neck are altered wouldn’t there be pinched nerves causing interruption in the nervous system? I wish Doctors as yourself and John Bergman collaborated together. You guys would truly be a powerhouse team.

This is very true! Thanks for sharing! Liver is probably congested too. Someone who has a Chinese medicine background and/or Shiatsu could help too.

I've just recently been diagnosed with this, having suffered for years without any doctor taking me seriously. I've also been finding it impossible to lose weight. I've gone low carb, more exercise, and yet I just can't shift a pound. Is this part of the illness?

Try intermittent fasting. I was skeptical at first, but since going to 1 meal per day, have lost 40 lbs without really trying.

@@lisaparker5836 wow well done indeed x ive just not long been diagnosed with this. Im on Pregabalin for pain..i have sciatica very bad, and recently along with pains and swelling and aching aswell as the lethargy my feet 🦶 on a morning and night before bed 🛌 feel like im walking on pebbles! Its horrid. Ive gone keto...and after watching Jason Fung on KZitem Im also like you trying I.F. Im one meal a day...and trying the 20 hour fasting then one meal method - just started the I.F. again seriously - and this time more water, and no nibbling the odd naughty bar of something forbidden 🚫 😂 Well done....im guessing you did no snacking?

I suffer the exact pain you describe, but my Gallbladder was removed 3 yrs ago, because it was full to bursting with stones (Dr's. Words knot mine) and was totally infected,if I hadn't of fell too the floor in Pain thinking my Pancreas had flared up with breakthrough pain, and my wife getting me straight into the car and off to hospital. She knows the signs of breakthrough pain from my Pancreas, because I have Chronic Pancreatitis through CF,I could of been a gonna. It needed removing, quickly only that couldn't happen until I'd been on,IV Antibiotics for the infection. Because if it had of burst & the infection spread, I'd of probably had gotten Sepsis. But with it removed I still get the said pain you talked about,so I'm asking please Dr.Berg why I still get the pain.??!

The gallbladder may well play a part but I believe that fibromyalgia is a leaky gut issue...inflammation from particles of food leaking through the wall of the gut, straight into the blood stream. That's why it's chronic, widespread, non-specific pain.
