Thank you Watari Wataru, brains base studio, studio feel and every staff that was involved with OreGairu. #OreGairu #OreGairuAnalysis #SNAFU
OreGairu is full of ambiguity and abstract concepts, it is naive for one to think they have understood it from just watching the anime. But even if one also reads the light novel, it is simply not enough to account for the complexity of the series. However, Watari Wataru has left readers clues and hidden references from influential literatures. Therefore, in an attempt to clear out the ambiguity of OreGairu, this video has touched upon those external literature and tried to develop a theory of something Genuine. I hope this video will provide you guys with a different perspective to the term Genuine, thanks for watching! :))
The limitations of this video is that it failed to cover characters like Yuigahama, Haruno and Hayama in great detail. Furthermore, the book Run, Melos! was not explored in-depth contrary to No Longer Human. I have read extensively on The Gift of the Magi, In a Grove and The Little Prince, but not so much on No Longer Human, Kokoro and Run, Melos!. I highly encourage you guys to read those work as well, they are of great quality.
