I remember my Dad rebuilding these in the 50's when I was a boy. Then I rebuild them as a teen and young adult. Thank you for the memories. As always I liked and shared. All my very best.

Hi, I was catching up on some of you older videos on your second channel and watched this one from about a year ago when you showed how a wheel cylinder was put together. Have you ever seen one that had a brass sleeve inside the cylinder. I don't know if that is rare, but I have a 1930 Dodge DC eight 4 door sedan that actually has hydraulic brakes, and the wheel cylinders have brass sleeves. I'm not sure if they are original, but I think they are. They got locked up once from sitting too long, but I just had to clean up everything and change the fluid, and they worked fine. No pitting in the brass. It does have odd brake shoe adjusters though. I really enjoy watching your channels. Thanks

I learned something new with your comment. I have not seen ones with a brass sleeve, but I have no doubt they were used in older vehicles, and now I know for sure. Thank you for the support of the channel, William.
