I enjoyed your positive review/recap/summary of your 3 week road trip in Japan. As a Canadian that has been living in Japan off and on for almost 30 years, I couldn't agree more on how impressive the clean toilets (everywhere) are, as well as all the delicious and inexpensive foods, from convenience stores and restaurants. I had noticed in your Japan adventure videos ,that you'd visited some of our favorite areas too, like Izu Peninsula. Nice new hairstyle Sandy.👍and I'm looking forward to seeing your 'Australia Lap' series.

Yes! Japan is amazing for road tripping. Over the years we've driven thousands of km all over Japan and we never get sick of it. The ETC card is a good tip. I think last time we did over 3000 km and clocked up over 800 bucks in tolls but with the toll card we got a 20% discount. There are speed cameras but they aren't that common on Honshu. Waze is good for warning you when they're coming up. And the fines aren't big anyway. Except Hokkaido. Don't get snapped in Hokkaido. But the rental company will show you pictures of what to look out for. 😂 Onsen are the best. You do get used to nuding up. There are mixed onsens where you nude up but they are pretty much family friendly. Get yourselves back there in winter and find some outdoor onsen in the snow. I recognised that 7Eleven you showed. Our Ryokan, hotel, was about a street or two behind it. 😂 I ate family mart creme caramels and pancakes every single day and I still lost weight. 😂 I am so pleased you loved Japan. Your experiences matched ours. Fantastic country and people. So safe and clean. And the food is superb. Anyway, looking forward to your reviews of some of those outback road houses in Oz. 😂

Hello Sandy and Tim, sure did enjoy your trip to Japan. Like the hair👍. That's pretty rough no toilet. Sounds like a excellent van rental company. Being a foreigner I would stick to the speed limit. Wow 380 on tolls😮. Very good video thank you for the info have a good day.

Hi, Sandy and Tim, It is very helpful information for the first visitor to JP. Oh..you used ONSEN/hot spring to freshen up. wow. I cannot even go in there...hahah was it like nude beach? hahaha If only there is, OFURO/public bath could be offered in some town. Welshman used to explore Japan, now he is back in the UK, I reckon. I believe there is no claim about bathrooms, well maintained roads, vending machines, and seven-eleven. Have you felt you have been watched? I bet you felt very safe and secure. hahah Well done!. I am proud of YOU. Apologies for my belated comment. I had to sleep on it after watched it. Strange thing happened that one day I did not have any notifications .. hahah..

I really enjoyed the Japan series, such a beautiful country with gracious people. I'm wondering, of all of the wonderful places you've been so far, is there one (or more) that you think you could happily live? Or does the saying hold true for you: no matter where you roam, there's no place like home. Excited to see what adventures find you next, stay safe and GOD bless

Thanks for the video. I visited Japan in 2007 when my daughter and her hubby lived there. My daughter took me to an Onsen that was women only no bathing suit. I figured if they hadn't seen a fat older white lady oh well. BTW I sent you a little card with stickers. It is on its way.
