We are coming for the first 2 weeks of May! Counting the days! Thank you for your wonderful info. We heard about the ticks and have bought some Sawyer tick and bug spray for clothing and have spray for our body. Bringing layers and our winter gear-spikes and poles, and clothes. Plan to visit Images of RMNP.

It can be wonderful (or snowy), but always great to be in the mountains.

I am traveling to the Rocky Mountains with my parents in a day. Any suggestions for lookout points that will be old people friendly? They are mostly interested for sightseeing.

I recommend visiting Sprague Lake and Lily Lake as they are both very gentle walks with beautiful views of the mountains.
