Qigong is one of the world’s traditions of exercise that does all these things.
“Qigong” means work or practice with “qi,” which is the functional energy, the life force and information, that we have coursing through our systems.
There are 1000s of types of qigong!
Movements can include
Shaking
Tapping
Self-massage on acupressure points and channels
Movements that look like taiji
Standing postures
And walking movements
In the workshop I’ll be hosting online on October 15, we’ll be doing my favorite safe, simple, powerful practices for
Clearing stagnation (especially related to emotion)
Building energy
And harmonizing energy in all the major organ networks
I’ll also share some understandings from Classical Chinese Medicine about how the body works, and we’ll have time for Q&A.
