Thanks so much for this. I'm going through this right now. Its so scary and I feel like I'm stuck in this horrible feeling. I'm a month and a half in, and it's just horrible. I'm barely holding down my job right now due to the retracing being so intense. My Chiropractor didn't warn me I would go through this, which makes it more scary. I have reported everything to him and he has reassured me it's normal, but I think he should have explained this before he got started. I'm so afraid I wont feel normal again, this process has been intense, and I'm so afraid. When you say 2 years, will that be two years of me feeling like this! God I don't know if I can do two full years of continuously feeling this way. I might have to stop my treatment and start again later. This is too much.

I started upper cervical adjustment several months ago. The first improvement I noticed was actually after my first adjustment. My jaw rubbing that used to make a kind of crepitus sound was gone. I've been suffering with tinnitus in my left ear for 15 years. Fullness in the left ear and muffled hearing in that left ear. Very miserable. The next thing I noticed was that when I used to shift my jaw to the right I'd feel a sort of click like bone was rubbing on bone somehow. That seems to have lessened or even gone away. Now I am getting a lot of what feels like sinus drainage throughout the day. My throat feel tickly and irritated. Very annoying. I get some mucus early in the morning (usually yellowish in color...sorry to be gross) that I have to cough up. Is it possible some of the pent up sinus mucus trapped by the ear and eustachian tube is draining out and going down my throat? I often have to gargle, drink warm liquids or chew gum to abate the very annoying tickly feeling. I've always felt that the problem was related to two t-bone car accidents I had in close proximity to one another in 2004 and 2006 with 2006 being more severe. Could all of these things possibly be related to retracing. I'd be very curious to know. I'm still going for my adjustments and hopeful things will get better. It's a lot of money, but at least I am getting some changes rather than nothing at all. How long in general can retracing take. I know it's dependent on individual but is there a range of time? If you happen to see this comment and can respond, I'd greatly appreciate it, Thanks so much and God bless!
