I feel like if this character was brought back now, he would get the Miracle Man treatment. Make it be like The Manchurian Candidate.

I love that Fighting American has a machine gun in his shield, this feels like if Robert Rodriguez got a chance to direct a Captain America movie.

It’s even funnier when you consider that there’s certain toy versions of Cap’s shield that shoot out projectiles much like how Liefeld Fighting American’s shield does.

Yeah it does seem werid that fighting american doesn't have a gun and a shield.

If you thought Liefeld’s Fighting American wasn’t enough of a Captain America knockoff, consider that his original concept was for a character named “Agent America” who looked even more blatantly like Great Value Cap, complete with skeletal enemy who’s definitely not Red Skull.

So you're saying Marvel stole both Liefielfds Winter Soldier story and his Agent America to make US Agent? But just to be clear Jack Kirby created FIghting American and Liefield bought the rights after Marvel bought him back in 96 to write Captain America then let him go before he could finish the run so just like Kirby who had his original creation stolen by Marvel and fought back so did Rob.

My god Fighting American sounds like great material for the independent comics, the hero has his mind and soul into his dead brother, man we should get a Fighting American action figure 👍

I definitely haven’t heard of him, but if I was a betting man, Fighting America would hand downs beat Captain America because he doesn’t care about other people’s life, at the same time do care.

Do some research. Awesome entertainment went bankrupt overnight. The series was never completed because there was no money to pay for it. The last issue was more than halfway finished and that work was never paid for. Nothing to do with lateness.

It wasn't quite interesting. I even think that it would have been succesful if the characters weren't such obvious ripoffs of Captain America & co.
