You know what I love about this channel and Naka Sensei is the joy that is shown in the smiles and laughter when sharing and demonstrating techniques, theory and philosophy with each other. This is the true beauty of real martial arts training. Everyone trying to help each other to improve. The fellowship and respect is so tangible. What a wonderful example to everyone what true martial arts training can aspire to be. Absolutely wonderful! Thank you for this amazing channel!

Very friendly, modest and respectful amongst the masters. I like that!
I have been practicing Shaolin Kempo for 32 years, by my father. The same techniques, which is unique. He also was inspired by Shorinji. A very high level ...thank you very much Sadly my father passed away in 2017. Thank you so much and the joy being shown here. We also laughed a lot. It gives me joy seeing this level.

The fact that we have one of the most respected Japanese Karate Sensei's in the world always giving respect to other styles of Karate is absolutely admirable and true honor. I am a fan as-well-as a lifelong student of Shotokan Karate and Kajukenbo and one day, I pray to be able to add Shorinji Kempo to my list of obtained knowledge, experiences and respect. Domo Arigato Sensei for your passion to learn and also expose the many other styles of Martial Arts to the world!
I love your videos. Keep them coming, and keep up the good work.

They are the ultimate masters of their own arts and yet they joke around while exchanging techniques. Notice the insane speed and explosiveness This is what happens when people reach the utmost mastery. They become so humble yet very dangerous

Part Daito Ryu Jujutsu part Chinese Kempo what an awesome art. I practice a combo of Judo Aikido and Chinese Kempo. And I practice Zazen every day. This is a great martial art. I do my best to train every morning when I wake and then in the evening before bed. This is more than just a sports or physical fitness. It's a way to live correctly. I have great respect for Shorinji Kempo. And the people that keep it alive for future generations.
Fantástico intercambio de conocimiento.... absolutamente espectacular.

Drop by after missing shorinji kempo so much, practiced in 1999 in my hometown then left for college in java, never did anymore, sometimes regret why not joining campus dojo back then😥
Oss Sensei Thank you so much for your interesting explanation. I really appreciate your job. I wish you peace and happiness under the sky of prosperity. Your follower from Algeria. All the best.
This is an excellent video and series to add to your collection. This is what Budo is about. Always striving to learn more. Master Naka is truly the heir to True Karate Do and the 20 Principles . I recommend all blackbelts regardless of lineage to train with a true savant. Simply one of the best Karate-Ka in the world. 3-5-26 #Karate Code

Although I am a 2nd Dan Shotokan practioner, I love Shorinji Kempo; I like close maai and grappling techniques. Seem to be a combination of aikijujitsu and karate.
