Hello Oliver! Thank you for your video. I am about to send CVs to Finland so I find your videos helpful. I know that looking for a job in Finland for foreigners is challenging and the pandemic does not make it easier, but the fact that apparently now is the best time to look for a job made me more optimistic :D Regards from Poland

Glad it was helpful! Also, best of luck with your applications. The situation is indeed not easy but this also applies to Finnish job applicants as well.

Hello Oliver!! Thanks for informative video. I am planning to come at Finland on tourist visa in the month of November to get more information about Finland schools for my daughter's admission over there. Can I search for job there at same time. I hope this is right time to come and search for work. Thanks

Wht about for nurses to Finland ? Is there any recruitment nowdays
@RoadtoFinnish

Hey Shyni, there is a huge demand for nurses in Finland but the problem is that you need to be certified to work as a nurse in Finland. I posted this answer already in one of your other comments but ill just copy and paste the same thing here. In order to work as a nurse in Finland, you need to be certified by the National Supervisory Agency for Welfare and Health. This requires you to have a certified degree in nursing that is accepted by the Finnish government. In addition, all medical or health care professionals working in Finland must be able to speak well enough either Finnish or Swedish. Unfortunately this means that if you have a degree in nursing from another country, you will most likely not be able to work as a nurse in Finland with that degree. This is because of local regulation and laws. You can find more information about this topic on this website: www.nurses.fi/nursing_and_nurse_education_in_f/working-as-a-nurse-in-finland/ If you are interested in doing a degree in nursing in Finland, i recommend checking out this website: www.edunation.co/study-in-finland/universities/satakunta-university-of-applied-sciences/bachelors-degree-nursing/

Absolutely yes. In Finland we do not care about your age when you apply to study.
