what bollocks! An actor deliberately PRETENDS to be something they are not and to convey feelings that they do not actually have. That is their job. In real life we should try to be authentic and have integrity. Totally different.

no they don't convey feelings they don't have. they use the feelings they have ffs. it's like you've never heard of acting. you use what you HAVE and pull from that.
