In this video, I tried to explain the working logic of transformers, which we can see in almost all electrical devices we use in daily life, without going into their varieties. Transformers are one of the electrical machines that do not have any moving parts, which are used to decrease or increase the voltage and current level of any alternating current without changing the frequency. Transformers are also known as transformers with short name.
In order to better understand the working logic of the transformer, we must first look at the Ampere Law. According to this law, a magnetic field occurs around a conductor through which a certain current flows. When we wrap the two electromagnet coil on an iron core and place them close to each other, a transformer is formed.
With transformers, only an AC voltage is increased and decreased. Because the direction and intensity of the AC at the entrance changes every moment depending on the time, and the direction and intensity of the magnetic field changes at any moment. With this area cutting the output windings, an AC voltage is induced in the windings. The input part of a transformer is called Primary in the sense of primary, and the output part is called Secondary in the sense of secondary.
