Yes! The church needs to be more loving "by this will all men know that we are his disciples". God is rich in Mercy and kindness as we should be.

Lets count! Do a Bible word search on the word Hell in the OT translation of the NASB, NIV, AMP, and other modern Bibles, and then ask yourself why Pastors think its a OT doctrine that "runs throughout the whole Scripture"!

Yeah because no one will find it in the OT unless you find one of the translations that go crazy with the use of Hell and people put their preconceived concepts on the OT where they don't belong.

He asks at the end: what is God to do with the hardened, unrepentant sinner? The implication is that only Hell will do. But what I would ask is that a being that would choose such wickedness not be created to begin with. And then I suppose we would be told that free will would be violated. The long and the short of the non-universalist view is that God is compelled to gamble some of His creatures going to hell in order for there to be free will, and therefor heaven for at least some. Damnation, or at least, the great risk of it, is built into a universe created by a loving, omnipotent God. No. This is nonsense. It posits a reality outside God whose power God must submit to. C.S. Lewis himself raised the possible objection that God was a gambler (towards end of PILGRIM'S REGRESS) and then simply didn't answer it. I wonder why.

In regarding Eternal torment and the nature of Our Holy God, If we acted with torment by constantly tormenting someone this way,we would be punished and working against Christ and his Spirit. In other words, is God, "forgive me Lord",in his eternity, equating forever tormenting pain as glorious and compatible with his Love,For Love is his essence of Being. Question: Would God be Sociopathically Schzophrenic,I have no intention of being blasphemous towards my Lord Jesus whom I Love.I would appreciate different responses by loving Biblical Christians.I prayfully struggle with this matter...Thank You! Also, I understand the conversation was not comprehensive, but the position of UR,or "Ultimate Reconciliation", did not come up.The position that there is a hell, but it may not last forever. In fact,in my research I think that most evangelical Orthodox Christians that are Universalists hold to this position.God Bless Thanks for any responses!

The notion that the church should be more loving... You yourself said that Jesus was very loving. That's the way Christians are supposed to be. Whether it draws large crowds or not

I am not a Christian. So, I don't believe Christian god. So, according to Christianity, he will punish me simply because I don't believe him. Why? Punishing someone because they don't believe is insane.

Hi Mohamed. God doesn't punish for not believing perse`. God will allow punishment on one who refuses to believe. Scripture says the fool says in his heart that there is no God- but a better interpretation will be.. a fool says in his heart "NO" to God. One can ask God to believe, and God would be that gracious to assist. But one will not even asks if he has already determined a NO in his heart. In essence... God gave man a choice to choose and love Him from his heart. Remember this- what would your life be like if you made your friends treat you like they love you- even when you know they don't? I hope you'll think about.

@@erickalewis1445 Thanks for your replay. But you contradict yourself. You wrote, "God gave man a choice to choose and love him from his heart." And then you wrote, "God will allow punishment on one who refuses to believe." Do you see your contradiction? If God gives me the choice to choose, that means that God gives me to believe Him or not to believe Him, right? But when I refuse to believe Him, He is going to punish me. Why? He gave me the choice to either believe or not believe. This is contradiction. Please resolve this first. Thanks

@@MohamedAhmed-gq2wl Hi Mohamed. God wants to be loved, but He doesn't force anyone to love Him. It's like our earthy relationships. We want people we love to genuinely love us. Not forced love. Agape love( the God kind of love)- is a love that deals with choices, based on scripture. The word of God. We choose to do as the Lord tells us. The enemy of our soul (Satan) wants us to not follow God. To not follow God- in a way that refuses to learn him , is to follow the devil. God is holy, and whenever we choose to reject His offer of Salvation through Jesus.. then we reject true life. Without God's life in us through Christ- there is no life. God punished the devil... and anyone who sides with the enemy, will ultimately share what the enemy has coming. It's a refusal to know God.. that's the danger. It's not doubt or not understanding. It's refusal to even try to know Him. You only need to ask Him. And He will help you understand. Our thinking needs transformation. What we constantly put in our thinking gets embedded into our thoughts. Our thought patterns become strongholds. They can be positive or negative. We make them positive by knowing truth in Christ.

@@erickalewis1445 You have avoided to answer my question; that is, you have failed miserably to reconcile your contradicted statements: "God will allow punishment on one who refuses to believe" and "God gave man a choice to choose and love him from his heart." Try again.

@@MohamedAhmed-gq2wl I'm sorry I haven't clarified enough. Believing in God is not an issue for many. Especially for Islam, Judaism, and Christianity . These are the most common 3 monotheistic religions. It's the refusal to accept the only way to an intimate relationship with Him and that would be through Jesus Christ. He is the final sacrifice which awaited early Jews.. He (Jesus) has always been the perfect sacrifice Who would be able to make men and women, girls and boys- acceptable to God. There needed to be a perfect sacrifice. The previous was until Jesus came. In Islam,I know that Mohammed is revered. But He is not greater than Jesus. Mohammed has good sayings, and I respect the hadiths .. they are good principles.. makes for good peaceful kind of living. However, if anyone chooses to create their own righteous, then that person refuses God's wisdom. God known through Jesus- which is God's way of doing things- is what He (accepts).. to be quite frank- His way through Christ is actually the easiest way ever for a relationship with Him. Why? Because Christ did all of the work. And satan - definitely doesn't want you to grasps that. He(satan) deceives. I encourage you to read the Holy Bible. Read through the gospels. These writers will explain more to you.

6:25 "The issue of judgment is interesting because we always think of that as the dark side of god, and we can frame it up like that, and _there is a reality to that."_ There is the poison, folks, the toxic theology that has defiled many, many people over the centuries. It is an absolute lie! 1 John 1:5 *"God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all."* If you perceive any darkness in your god whatsoever, you are grossly misunderstanding the Scriptures, and the devil has disguised himself as God in your mind.

God- is- eternal, you seem preoccupied with whether he's consenting age. What difference could that make? It's a public forum about a religious topic..get a grip!
