Vinyasa yoga is one of the most popular forms of yoga out there. I talk briefly about this yoga and the method emphasizing mostly on the first Ashtanga vinyasa series.
* There are four series of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga and the first series is the most commonly practiced. Moving onto the next series involves increased intensity of efforts, and the first series is generally for beginners and intermediate practitioners.
* 5 breaths for most postures except the inversions which are held from 8 to 12 to 24 breaths.
