This week I asked the question on social media about ‘What is your top strategy for lifting your mood?’.
I'll be honest, I have a few mood-boosting strategies up my sleeve. They're not complicated, and they should help you start feeling better about life.
Some of my strategies include reading my favourite series of books (ones that I have been reading and re-reading since I was a teenager), listening to music and going for bush walks and hikes.
Instead of asking what you can do to feel better, ask yourself what is the one thing you really want to do? Then go do that. I’m not talking about a quick fix, but something that is realistically achievable for you. Maybe it is calling a friend, going for a walk in nature, or simply playing with your dog/cat/pet.
