Just bought a 2024 ford tremor @2.99% because the Tundra TRD Pro was @7.99%. I'm happy I shopped around because after Test Driving the Tundra TRD Pro twice and the Ram Rebel/Warlock (can't remember) Never thought I'd own a ford, always hated them; but I feel like it was the better choice. I hated the turning radious of the tundra; makes for a bad off reader and ford doubled down with it's trail turn assist.

We had a 2023 for about 8 months before trading it. Soooo many issues. Multiple service campaigns that couldn’t be addressed. It took us 7 months to get the second key due to “supply chain issues.” The seats squeaked like crazy when you leaned back (common issue with these). The hybrid battery cooling system malfunctioned multiple times. I’m usually a Toyota fan but their quality for the first year was awful. Maybe this 2024 will be better.

Some things are cool on the tundra some aren’t, whatever works for you will determine if it’s a good truck. I will say this, the durability of the engine will be the most headache and that’s where Toyota takes the win in my opinion. I stand by my statement regardless of how well maintained the trucks are.

I have had my 24 1794 OR for about 2 months now. I don't drive it much as I have a company car but I have really enjoyed it. It is my first new vehicle and I wanted something practical and a touch of luxury with the 1794 interior. My only real complaints are related to the turning radius as well as the start-stop system being a touch on the weird side. I generally drive in the eco mode as I find even the normal drive mode occasionally being a bit touchy / laggy in stop and go traffic and like the eco mode to dull out sharp inputs.

I own a 24 trd pro. The fit and finish is poor compared to my previous 2022 Toyota Tacoma. The recall is the real scary part as the hybrid is not part of it and the recall range ends before the 24 MY begins. Yet, hybrids within the recall have failed due to the spun bearing and 24 MY tundras have also failed, including pros. Toyota’s reliability has really taken a dive and this is coming from a Toyota fanboy. I’m going to be selling my truck in a couple months. Do yourself a favor and get the 2024 4Runner as it is the last of the old gen platform from Toyota. That thing will outlast you. If you really need a truck bed, either go with one of the big three or get yourself a 2021 Toyota tundra. The 5.7 was bulletproof. Trust me, all the gadgets on this truck are nice but they don’t make up for where the truck is lacking. Oh and the turning radius is horrendous, especially when you put on bigger tires like what I have (35”). Stay away from the new gen Toyota products, at least for a few years.
