While I do not have NPD, I respect the hell out of this gorgeous individual. May you find the peace you deserve! 🧡

Thanks for sharing! I notice there's so much on social media about all the negative aspects of bpd npd. I don't think people realize that you can be in remission from traits from bpd and npd. I think it's great that you're Up in therapy and getting help and self reflecting! Society needs to hear more voices like yourself for them to see that we're human beings, and we're not all the same, and we're much more than our diagnosis!❤❤😊😊🎉🎉

Your voice and your story are exactly what the world needs to hear. You represent a person with as far as I can tell to disorders. You are a person with a mental illness. And as a person, you would like to be well. Whatever mistakes you might have made in life that might be connected to your BPD or your NPD Don't define you. That's obvious just by listening to you for 20 to 30 seconds. We are living in a culture that allows authors to write books called How to Kill a Narcissist. We live in a world that allows people to make videos called Five Reasons not to Trust in Narcissist. This makes it very easy for people to dehumanize us. And to ignore us as people who have flaws and who have strengths. I am not a category. You can categorize my mental illness, but you can't categorize me. I would imagine that if I sat down and talk to you, we would find that we are rather different. We might be able to share a few stories and some similarities, but we are two different people. We just both have the same disorder. And you have comorbidity that's different from mine. Thank you for saying everything you said in a lot less time than it took me to type this response.

Wow very eye opening you should be proud of yourself for being self aware 🎉 you listen to yourself and you knew that something was still off and you didn’t stop advocating for yourself until you found out what was really going on with you that way you can work on it. That’s all anyone can ever do as a person in life. Good luck to you on your journey 🎉

And its literally always NT people or males. I have ASPD and BPD and unfortunately OCD (which of course naturally comes with CPTSD). Some male who was NT tried to call me a liar then demanded i post my personal health info on the internet for his validation. Like sir. Based on your behavior i can def tell you arent the one actually aspd. But pop off 😂😂😂😂

A lack of an ability to self reflect is not a part of the diagnostic criteria for NPD. A sense of entitlement or grandiose sense of self importance (both of which ARE criteria for NPD) might make it more challenging for someone with the disorder to pause and reflect on their own behavior, but that doesn’t make it impossible.

Or maybe you’re just an alcoholic? Alcoholism even moderate drinking will destroy your mental and physical health in every way.

And, mental (and physical) health struggles can absolutely push people towards substance abuse.
