All these comments saying how this just means being a green beret is easier have probably never served. Also, by that logic, being a n Air Force PJ is harder because David goggins quit PJ course but made it through SEAL training. What really happened here is he went through bud/s, wasn’t mentally prepared, matured from this experience and came back stronger than he was. If anything, this is an example of how your past failures don’t define you unless you let them.

@@unclechrome1485 have you read the book. He was told he had the trait, not the disease, which means he could have continued. But since he had missed too much training he would have had to start from day one, which he himself said terrified him and used the sickle cell trait as an excuse. He still had it when he went through SEAL training, Ranger school, DEVGRU and Delta Selection.

@@jorgemanjarrez6429] He probably would of made it through if they hadn't told him he had to stop do to having the sickle cell gene. It seems he was the type a guy at the time that he would do anything once until he was told he couldn't do it no more and then would just leave so he wouldn't have to start over. Im sure if got rolled back during buds he might of gave up on that to. He never did anything twice during his military career. If he didn't go through on the first try he would just go to the next thing.

Navy Seals > Green Berets > Rangers~Marsoc People said they aren't no ranking, but screw it man. There are hints and evidences indicates the sequence above. That being said Delta Force > DEVGRU. You needed to pass a lots of top secret clearance to be in that position even if you are top of the ice berg and have a right traits, value as they said. There are lots of complex political factors and social considerations to screen candidates because the mission or the situation they are being put into by the command. You are in absolute luck if they choose you for even getting into the selection. Not talking about enrolled in the theater.

The army Green berets have more skill sets in the Navy seals. The training isn't quite as grueling the Bud's portion. But it's pretty close. But the Green berets are more well-rounded troops. Everybody goes to the John f Kennedy special warfare center in the armed forces special forces personnel that is. They go to the Green berets medical school in a host of other schools to own their own skills. And its army Green berets that train them. 😆😂😂😆😆 You can't beat the Green berets in their own game I don't care what you think you are who you call yourself seal ranger MARSOC Force recon PJ it doesn't matter. The army Green berets are the best special forces on this planet. Also look up 5th special forces group in Vietnam. It was no better personnel in the jungle than the army green berets. They carried out the most highly classified and secretive special missions and got the job done. They were in control along with the CIA overall the spec ops units that pulled all those hairy scary missions. Look it up. a Green Beret can make a host of other type of soldiers in a special warfare or gorilla type situation a Green Beret can make a a troop of army rangers a Green Beret can make LL RPS units a Green Beret can make frog men and iee Navy seals and they can make their own special forces type of guys that's what they do for a living or they can put that aside and they can conquer and any one of those things as one of those mission sets they've already been trained to do it a Green Beret can be a Navy SEAL arranger a force recon Marine a French foreign legion there or an infantryman whatever he chooses to be that's training that's a lot of training my friend 👍🔥🔥🔥👍

re: "Being a seal is harder than the army lol" Not necessarily. Depends on what you want, what you THINK you are going to do, and the consequent mental expectations and preparations you develop in making your approach to those respective courses. I know a fair amount about both of those worlds and I would say that if a person is at the same decision point of "which way should I go", if you want to become a SEAL first and foremost you better like and feel very comfortable in the water. The ocean water. If you're not really a "waterman" as they say, being a SEAL is probably not the best choice for you. SEALS are water-based, and so the people who do best that way are surfers, open ocean swimmers, and maybe most of all competitive water polo players. I can tell you that in the open ocean at night with a big black moonless sky which makes the water and everything else around the same color -- either black or black-ER -- and you don't know how much farther you can swim, those memories of being the 50-meter freestyle stud on the swim team in junior high school won't really help you then. Don't ask... 😉
