Don't know why, I mean may be it's good for them to have their national language but they find difficulty in expressing themselves on international platforms. It feels really good that we know n are taught different languages and thus our people find it easier interacting with people of different regions and countries even our rickshaw pullers understand basic English. For those people who poke others and tell other to speak hindi : 1st. it's not my mother tongue. 2nd. I use English as my 2nd language to communicate with people who don't understand mine, as it can be used internationally. 3rd. And if u want non-hindi speakers to learn hindi, them you must learn each language and dialect of india. Jai hind 🇮🇳

Not a very strong stand was taken in this video. It was mostly about the benefits of being multilingual. Currently to the best of my knowledge, Andhbhakts just want an Akhand Bharat. That could stem from the fact that once a Hindu Empire expanded to the length and breadth of the subcontinent. Even so, every region had different culture and practices and that divide has only grown with the passage of time. I don't know why we want to dismiss this diversity and enforce unity. By dismissing their local language, their local practices, their local culture, In a way, we will lose the information, data, intangible heritage, and legacy gained through thousands of years which would be detrimental to the individual self-esteem of the locals. We need to acknowledge it. We need to be more like European Union.

We do not want hindi as national language. We want hindi to replace english as The LINGUA FRANCA of the country. When I want to visit other state. I want to speak with Hindi( I am from Odisha and a fluent Odia speaker) When I visit a ALIEN country and meet with strangers/Foreigners. I will speak English. India is NOT an Alien country nor My fellow citizens are Aliens/Foreigners. So why should I speak English to my fellow countrymen
@hope2251

But other state people don't want to speak in Hindi because they like English. By English they get jobs in mncs, by English they get to travel abroad, by English they are able to read and learn alot fro international resources. Just because you want to speak in Hindi with someone once a year, doesn't mean others will change their choices. Anyway hindi is not even a complete Indian language, it's highly middle eastern influences.

Congratulations once again Akash on bringing out this video in such a wonderful format. I strongly agree with the fact that one language will, in no way, promote the idea of India. We will have no practical benefit by forcefully imposing Hindi. Bilingual and multilingual education should be preferred. I also like it when you say that whether you like it or not, English is important and it is here to stay as it is a global language. Apart from the benefits of knowing English, let us not forget that the language that I am using right now is also English, the introduction of this video is also written in English, the supporting articles are also written in English etc. Studying English in no way threatens our nation or ourselves as individuals. If at all we have to promote something that is one, it is important for us to understand that we have to be one with everybody and everything. In our experience of life, there are only two things - one is me and the other is all that is not me. Let us remove these barriers and open ourselves to all that this life has to offer.
