will the camera still work during a power outage? I was hoping it will record during an outage and I can look at those videos when wifi come back on or through my phone service?

Yes, it will still function during a power outage. It gets 100% of it's energy through the solar panel and records videos on-board.

I like the license plate quality at 40ft if you zoom in while in live mode. But what if you are reviewing already recorded video, you can’t zoom and get that same quality anymore. Right? Does the camera include a feature to review recorded videos and see license plates with clarity at 40ft?

You can pinch zoom in the app but it's not the same as that second zoom lens. You can set the camera to record with both lenses by default so your recorded videos will have both views combined. Hope that helps!

Thank you for this video! Do you know the max distance that will trigger motion detection? Is there a difference between the max distance that will trigger motion detection from the side vs max motion distance detection from the front? I am making an assumption that motion detection can be triggered from the side, please let me know if you have found otherwise.

I have had this thing less than a week and already have had to bring it inside to charge the battery. Its on 54% and i just charged it in full two nights ago. It is set to detect vehicles and humans and AI to follow movement. It's directly in sunlight. Before I return it, what might I be doing wrong?

If it's in a busy area (like pointed towards a street), you can try setting an activity zone so it minimizes how much it moves.

Interesting camera. Lithium batteries should never be charged below freezing. Does this camera have some sort of temp sensor to prevent this?

Please note extreme cold weather may cause eufy battery-powered SoloCam to temporarily stop functioning since its operating temperature range is -4°F to 122°F / -20°C to 50°C due to the built-in lithium-ion battery.
