Worked in a restaurant and an accounting firm. Both have pressure zones. Accounting have workaholic targets, restaurants have "everything is urgent and everything is on fire - figure how to fix it quick" I genuinely enjoyed my restaurant time because the crew were supportive. Your team can and will make or break your experience. Blessings to all hard workers ❤

this seems more like a “the one person who things suffering is a competition” sorta video

Dismissing a friend's feelings because you have a hard job is pretty harsh. Maybe you can both support each other instead

My friend is like this 🙄, always making things a competition and invalidating my stress. She also works in a restaurant. I have respect for her job, but she doesn’t have to make it like she’s better than me

it's the "Some people have it worse" mentality. It's okay to feel stressed while acknowledging that it could be worse, your feelings are still valid!

@@Doopen Thank you! You are so nice! I didn’t know that was a specific mentality some people can have

My mom is a nurse and would relate to your complaint about working on holidays

As someone who left the restaurant life for office life I get both of these perspectives 😭

Well try all the stuff this lady is referring to only in a hospital setting with sick people who complain, that’s nursing.😅
