Ephesians 6:10-18 says, Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. The bible is no old book. You have to really let Christ open your eyes; to see the world in shambles. Many people say it's a religion to lock up people in chains, and say it's a rule book.. why? Because people hate hearing the truth, it hurts their flesh, it's hurts their pride, it's exposes on what things have they done..people love this world so much, s*x, money, power, women, supercars.. things of this world. Still trying to find something that can fill that emptiness in your heart. You can't find that in this world.. only in Christ, the bible is no chains, it's a chainbreaker. Breaking your sins into pieces... Repent now, and turn back to the true Lord only.. God bless. ❤❤❤❤

@@braydenlester2507 My jaw wasn’t completely wired shut. I was given tight bands not too different from the kind people wear during standard orthodontics. Before my surgery, my orthodontist attached special hooks to my braces which held these in place. I’m not 100% sure how the procedure works, but I believe I was intubated through my nose, which is where I think some of my congestion came from. This surgery really messes up your sinuses, and mine took a while to get back to normal. The best thing for me was standard allergy meds, essential oils, and hot showers. Nothing else really cleared me up. I was told I couldn’t blow my nose, so there wasn’t much else I could do. Numbness is another huge factor. I was lucky enough to have a very talented doctor, so I regained all my nerve endings within a year. Some aren’t as fortunate, and have patches on their face where they can’t feel anything at all.

Is it for medical reasons to get the surgery or just for looks?
@mama7464s
6 ай бұрын
@gingerlygirl8415 It's usually for medical reasons. People with severe under or overbite often suffer pain in their jaws due to malocclusion as well as some have TMJ symptoms. But, of course, if they're going to do such drastic surgery, they're also going to get the best looking outcome possible. Just like when I failed a peripheral vision test and had to have upper blepheroplasty to get rid of my sagging, droopy eyelids, the plastic surgeon made sure he made then look as good as possible. I'm not fussing - I hated them, lol! 😂

I had nearly the same surgery due to an extreme open bite and an underdeveloped upper jaw. They also split the pallet. Recovery was tough and the experience caused some underlying physical trauma response to hearing or smelling dental/sterile hospital equipment, but I still am very happy to have had it done. Couldn’t eat normal until then.
