nice video, but two things: a 18000 stella(or new Saltiga) with a 20000 spool is a 20000 cause the spool is the only difference. The other thing what is more important: you can use extreme heavy drag and even pump against 20-30kg(depending on the person) with every rod no matter how it works cause you don't have to use the rod, jusz a rod to line angle around 180 degree, of course you have to cast far enough, without getting tired but for fighting it's not nessesary, I tried it with a

Hey Brooksy, could you make a similar video where you're showing us your smaller lures for when you're fishing from the surf for reef fish or just smaller fish... I think that you should do videos where you go for surf fishing mostly - I know it's not as exciting or intense as GT's but for a lot of people smaller fish are attainable goals - big fish are really hard to come by, lol

Hello, I have an really importante questions for you, because I watched on the video you have the three rods is Zenaq Tobizo; Which one will you recommend me for coast and boat? Because I really want a next level for tunas and I am thinking to buy new heavy equipment for that. Tobizo TC80-200G with Daiwa Saltiga 14000 XH? 8 length. Tobizo TC83-150G with Daiwa Saltiga 14000 XH? 8’3 length. Do you know exactly the weight of the both rods? Thank you 👏🏼

Definately wana save up for a tabizo, gona take me a while, $1200 nz, i fish from rocks for kingfish on banks peninsula with a Shakespear uglystick Black Tiger 1484-002 2.1m/ 7 ft, this rod cost me $140 nz, and has landed a 30kg king fish with a Diawa emcast plus fishing real- this is old gear tho- more than 10 years- but there are some good cheaper options for people on a tight budget... I pay a mortgage on a solo tradie income, but will be saving for this set up... I'm frothin to get to the barrier one day and land a big gt! love your guys videos, thanks for the tips Jonny1

hey mate, I honestly don't really notice it that much... both have their place. Hey Brooksy, rod question after a bit of a Morningtide and co viewing blitz . You used to go with much longer rods off the bricks, Zanak Defi Muthos 10 footer etc., but now about 8 foot. Is that because you've moved more towards targeting GTs rather than tuna etc, and are interested more in power rather than casting distance?
@JonnyBrooksFishing

both cast pretty similar actually... but yeah coming into tuna time so I'm gonna be using the longer rod a fair bit more I think.
