My wife and I watched this just now in the kitchen while drinking our coffee, me wearing my running gear (but not actually going out for a run, ha!). We discussed the video as it progressed and it was totally compelling. My wife remembered seeing a picture of me after the L.A. Marathon in 1996 with my parents and family friends. I, too, remembered how it felt to see loved ones just before the finish line, me feeling terrible and the sight of them lifting me up. I'm tearing up right now remembering that unforgettable feeling. We are proud of you, Sarah, and so happy that you had a great pacer running with you. Mo's positive attitude is the "angel on my shoulder" anyone would be lucky to have with them. Huge congratulations! You've made us all proud. You continue to inspire us to shoot for our goals and not give up. Whenever I'm running and start to get those doubtful thoughts, I'll think back to this video and remember that Sarah proved that you can do hard things.

Oh Sarah! I've been watching your journey, like many others have, mainly because I was running the London Marathon too. A wonderful video and you should be so proud of yourself. I love the "Learn or win" motto. I wish I would've told myself that during my efforts as I struggled in the last 6 miles but I still managed to cross the line despite not executing Plan A. Well done and amazing efforts!

what a lovely video! I think every runner knows those mental struggles all too well! I recently went Sub3 and just told myself "you go with this sub 3 to the half and then you'll see" - next one was 25, then 30 and after 35 I told myself: you'll do this today, it's basically and already shed a tear. Finished with a negative split in 2:58. Those mental battles are sooo hard but it's so rewarding if you manage to push through!!
