its almost certainly just down to the logo art team and cutscenes team using completely different assets to make the logo, with the goal just being having the same effect (or to accentuate certain locations on the animated one) over being 1:1 identical to each other

The leylines! The nexus in Coldarra was supposed to have one of the highest concentrations of arcane energy from the leylines where a large crack was forming

Oh nice catch I didnt think of that. And Desolace has Maraudon, which is full of elemental and life energy, so wouldn't be to surprising if it's on a leyline nexus.

The rings around the globe are a Titan containment device, like the toy you get at Tyrhold. It's also covered in runes, runes are domination magic used to control power. 'This world is a prison' For us and our Old gods ;)

i just noticed too, that the ring with the runes has 4 cracks on it, almost like a dragon grabbed it and squeezed

I think the area to the west of silithis is going to raise a sunken island or continent. I think this only because of the images in chronicle book 3 of frostmorne towering over what appears to be Ahn'Qiraj. You see a land mass in the distance that seems to be rising out of the water, and it’s there in the second image of frostmorne broken, and the remains are being overtaken by nature once again. Seems to be in the same spot off the cost of silithus. 😅🤷🏻♂️

@@RooksTavern I didn’t mention it in my original post, but the depiction is of a morneblade, Sargaras’s sword is also a morn blade, and it’s his only his sword that is towering over the land.

That's a good thought, we know of titan facilities in silithus, ungoro, and uldum. There could be one in desolace that we don't know about.

Just found this video, looks like at one point there was a titan vault in Desolace, kzitem.info/news/bejne/zp1otp2NcX1-nn4si=KEG07qZ2RcmW281C

You do realise the globe in the logo actually rotates, like a normal planet would do? It just pauses when the logo is done "loading". Pretty bs video.
@RooksTavern

That may be true, but it has stopped on the same spot in the eastern kingdoms for every expansion. With the exception of Warlords of Dreanor where it showed Dreanor instead of Azeroth. This is the first time it has stopped somewhere else.

@koenvandeneede1706 You do realize that it's a not a real planet rotating so anything it lands on was scripted and someone could see intent, especially given a difference that hasn't been there on most other cinematics. I hope you realize that. Realizing things is very important. Pretty bs comment.
