I decided to do a quick What's In My Bag video with the Chrome Industries MXD Segment sling bag on my wife's day off, so please excuse the low-tech video using my iPhone 8 and my AirPods for headphones. I'll leave technical details down below for those who are interested, but the sound quality is passable at best.
I like sling bags because it's quicker to access your gear versus a backpack, but also slim and out of the way. The biggest negative is that it's small and less protected compared to a proper camera bag. However, on light shooting days when you want to carry some stuff and have your main camera around your neck, I think sling bags can be a great alternative to a smaller shoulder bag, especially if you're active. Compared to a shoulder bag, a sling is more stable, although this bag does not have an optional stabilizer cross strap. If I was hiking or doing something more active, I would probably want a third stabilization strap under the arm, but for EDC daily use, this bag is fine. The MXD line is also very cool, created by Chrome's Japanese design team. In fact, when the entire lineup was first introduced, they immediately sold out, and they couldn't get me a review copy for a few months!! Now they're back in stock and I think they look really cool, as well as being functional.
Here is the list of everything I had in my bag as well as the bag itself, including links for those who are interested:

*Video captured using my iPhone 8 using the Movie Pro app, which allows you to use BlueTooth equipped microphones. I used my AirPods 2, which gives mediocre sound quality, but good isolation and the ability to shoot from medium distance. In the playground I switched to my Rode Videomicro with the deadcat removed (hence the wind noise) using a special adapter cable and a dongle to plug into my iPhone. Intro and Outro music 'Moth' by Silent Partner, license free music provided by KZitem Creator's Studio. Edited on my MBP 13" 2015 using iMovie
