Thanks for the video. I've bought, last year, the Lowepro ProTactic AW (1st one). I do like it: very comfortable to carry but it has some drawbacks. 1- the side openings to get the rig out without putting the bag on the ground is a bit small. I've a 7D with the battery grip, and getting it is most "extracting" it. 2- When the compartment for the computer is empty, there is some "floppy" fabric for the "bellows". And then the main zip jams, catching this floppy fabric. When full, there is no problem. Or we can add a rubber band to pull the extra fabric toward the middle. 3- All the separators are the same size, while not all the lenses has the same diameter... 4- The pocket in the cover are very flat. Maybe AWII fixes some of these problem...

Totally agree with you on your love for X-H1. This is my main photography camera right now, and just makes my experience wonderful. Ergonomics are perfect for me. The upgrades in body size, weather sealing, and slight control changes from X-T2 have really made this a great Fuji camera line. I really hope the rumors of them discontinuing are not true.

Glad you agree with me! I wish more people would give the X-H1 the love it deserves. Maybe I'm just in the wrong circles of the internet, but I feel like it gets so much dismissal compared to the X-T range (even before the X-T3 came out).

Yes, I've been waiting for a gear rundown video for so long now 😀 6:40 I feel this. I have been using the Fuji XH1 only for a month now but in this month I took more photos than in all of 2018 (over the same amount of time)! This camera really sparks my creativity. Normally I do street but with this camera I'm also getting into architecture, landscapes and portraits and I love the results I'm getting. That you are using the XH1 for photos, also played a role in my choice. An audio setup video would be really helpful. I said it already on a past video, but your vlogs really have THE best sound out there. Always crisp and clean, even in noisy places.

Nice travel gear. 3:58 mark, you can add a quality lightweight head on the Pixi as another option. It's works perfectly with the X T3 and the Fuji XF 16 to 80mm f 4.0 OIS WR lens, as long as you pull back the little angle control knob tight. Super stable for the size.
@iSee91

Great video as always! Could watch you talking about stuff for hours, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Anyways, I don't think that Fuji will discontinue the X-H line. If you think about it from a product engineering standpoint it doesn't make any sense. They brought out the X-H1 relativley shortly before the X-T3. So will have known that it would be difficult for the H-1 to be an absolute banger in terms of sales numbers. However, to develop a new line of cameras is extremely expensive, so it makes no sense to discontinue a camera that was supposed to be your top of the line but was maybe released a little but too late in terms of product cycles. They said in the recent past that they are working on making the IBIS mech smaller so that it can be implemented in the T-line in the future. For this, they will have to continue the H-line, too. Also the X-T3 gets quite some attention amongst film makers, so imagine how an X-H2 will amaze film makers if it packs all the video specs of the X-T3 plus IBIS and some bonusses on top. Of course I neither am a Fujifilm employee nor have I bulletproof information, but from a product engineering stantpoint I am almost sure, that there will be an X-H2. Cheers from a happy X-H1 owner
@joeallam
5 жыл бұрын
Yeah I sort of agree with that, but if I'm honest I actually think a simplification/merge of the two top tier cameras would just ease things more. I just worry the X-H line will continually be just a step behind the X-T line. Unless we find ourselves waiting for an X-H2 all the way until an X-T4 comes out. But even then, I'd prefer Fujifilm to just add the IBIS, better EVF and grip etc. to an X-T4. I agree it was absolutely terrible timing for the release of the X-H1; likely due to the pressures of the Sony A7III success. To be fair, the only knowledge I'm running off is the discontinuation of packaged models of the X-H1 as body only. It seems they're only with the battery grip now, with body only retail stock dwindling. I'd forgive them for releasing an X-H2 soon, given the short life of the X-H1, but I don't think it will happen to be honest. Also, I never got on board with those heart emoticons. I still see them as ice cream!

I've been questioning my XH1 lately but for no reason at all. I think it's the lure of cameras such as the Sony A7iii. In reality any Fuji is more capable than I'll ever be. One question I have Joe is have you thought of switching out the f2 prime trio in favour of the 16-55 2.8? It's something I'm toying with now. I don't enjoy switching lenses really but the compactness and lighter weight of the primes makes more sense than the big heavy zoom. But I'm torn. Great content as always mate. You should be sponsored by Fuji by now!!!
