We save soooooo much money packing lunches for our work. We stopped buying food at work about 12ish years ago because we found out between the 2 of us buying lunch and coffee we were going through around $700 a month. Yes we live in a HCOL area but still. That’s a lot! We save most of it and then the rest we used to hire a housekeeper. Best decision we ever made. No more fighting over who is more tired or who did it last time. 😂 Honestly the only drawback is that he gets tired of the same things all the time plus he’s a picky eater. He won’t eat any of my “weird” food allergy safe Meals but He does like almost everything you make. I always come back to your videos for more inspiration. I think I’m going to try that sausage and cheese bread and the pesto wrap this time.

Good ideas, i've got a helpful tip on the tortillas coming from a hispanic person to stop the cracking, if you cover them with a towel or place them in a tortilla warmer (its just a circle container to store tortillas) they finish cooking with their own steam and get that soft chewy texture that we love from tortillas

Next time you peel a kiwi, lop the ends off and then place a spoon between the skin and the flesh and work it all the way around the kiwi. You get nice smooth kiwi in the end, and depending on the size of your spoon the skin stays in one piece.

If you have problems with your tortillas cracking you can either buy a tortilla warmer (I don’t know if they’d sell them in your area though). It’s a fabric disc with a small opening for tortillas on the top it’s stuffed with an insulated core that is made to stay warm for several hours. You can either keep the freshly cooked tortillas in there so they stay warm and pliable and won’t crack or you can sprinkle a tiny (a couple of droplets from damp hands will do) bit of water inside the warmer before putting the old tortillas in and then microwave for 20 seconds. They will come out soft and pliable. If you can’t find a warmer you can use a barely damp dishcloth to wrap around the tortillas and microwave for 20 seconds to make them soft and pliable.
