What's inside a Hurling Ball (Sliotar)?
The ball consists of a cork core covered by two pieces of leather (not plastic!! my mistake!!) stitched together with threads around the cork centre.
Hurling (Irish: iománaíocht/iomáint) is an outdoor team game of ancient Gaelic and Irish origin.
One of Ireland's native Gaelic games, it shares a number of features with Gaelic football, such as the field and goals and points and the same number of players (15 per team).
Camogie is the female variant of the game
