Good job man. Your 100% right, I was intimidated at first. You guys sold me a gear set for like $20, and I renewed a $130 servo. Easy fix. I too took a pic before I removed the gears, just for a back up.

Not really any help on how to repair a servo. But a good video on how to take them apart.

Got some Power hd 23kg servos. The motor is spinning (working properly, i guess when batteries plugged in. It won't spin freely when all gears installed. I got two not working and trying to piece one good servo together. What other tips do you have? They stopped working after taking hard landing off ramps.

Please help I have had one of the three wires detatch from the servo at the board internally Would I be able to access it to solder easily? (micro server emax)

Hi Tyler, thank you for taking the time to make this video, I’m learning every day. My question is a little outside your video subject but I’m an electronics idiot but I’m not a dumb guy, so I’m hoping to tap your expert opinion for some advice. I’m trying to pull the rope on a lifejacket CO2 manual inflator (No, using the auto inflator is not an option) using either a servo or a solenoid with a button as the trigger on off. So, I’ve guessed the torque pull required on the rope is probably 3 to 5kg and this is a one-time use one time pull device I’m trying to build. I don’t even know if that is even possible to press a button once and get enough torque from a servo or solenoid to pull a rope? Would the servo keep spinning or would it stop after the button is released? Any advice or suggestions would be most greatly appreciated! Thank you so much..!

Like a lot of disassembly: Snap pictures as you take it apart and lay the parts out on a sheet of paper.
