SNMRE was the Southern Nevada Model Railroad Engineers. It was a club of model railroaders in Las Vegas. It was originally chartered in May of 1964. The Hopper car was one of a number that the club had made by Roundhouse.

Another great show! I love the car Steve brought to the round table! Short line or club either way it's neat! I also love the O Gauge cars he brought. The flat bed truck that Mike brought to the round table is very neat! For all your railroad clothing needs it's Jelsma Graphics "A Stitch Above The Rest" Until Next Time, Take Care And May All Your Signals Be Clear! MoPac Jack Rock N' Roll Forever..🚂

Hey Daniel that’s nice weathering for being busy and quick job! The only thing I suggest is try not to use the graffiti decals, I myself do real graffiti it just looks much more realistic! I know it takes time but it’s worth it!

Daniel - working long hours, volunteering for several non work gigs, trying to do your own hobby work, yet you can't find time for What's Neat EVERY week? OK, I kid because you're a favorite. Best to you all. 'Til next time...

Stop into Westside Trains. We are the only true train store left in all of Nevada. I'd love to meet you. I'll ask John the current owner of 18 years if he knows of that car. Many of the guys in the clubs come into the store.

@@stevenmantia3300 Yeah, we are the only train store left in NV. There is one other that is only O Scale but she is in rehab with a hip replacement and closed the next six weeks. By the way that car was from a club that used to have their layout in a house. The name was based of a Strip Club that is still downtown on Freemont Street. The club disbanded years ago, but a few of the original members still come to the store. Great guys. John the owner of the store knew right away as soon as I showed him the picture. I might be able to get you in touch with George who was also a member. He has a massive collection of trains from all scales at his house. Wouldn't surprise me if he has a bunch of those cars hiding away somewhere.
