Asking people their favorite animé is an interesting concept. It’s always nice hearing other people’s insights on the type of shows and films they’re watching. At the end of the day, animé is considered a masterpiece on its own. Animators don’t get much credit, which I find unfortunate. Hopefully animators would get extensive recognition one way or another.

I believe the last lady is Brazilian, and I have 4 reasons for that: 1) her accent; 2) Sakura was REALLY popular here in Brazil in the 2000s, along with Sailor Moon; 3) the fact that she used Sailor Moon as en example: for a long time, CCS was exibithed at 4:30 PM, right after SM at 4:00 PM; 4) the way she spoke the name of the anime ("Sakura Cardcaptor" instead of "Cardcaptor Sakura", just like the way it was named here in Brazil when the show aired, first on Cartoon Network and later on Rede Globo).

My all time favorites are : - FMA Brotherhood (wonderful characters in a very well thought-out world and magical system - Violet Evergarden (Just beautiful. Will re-watch soon) - Parasyte (thought-provoking and makes you wonder about human nature) - Naruto (great character and analysis of real governments) - Death Note (ep 1-8 were GOLD) - Blood Block Battlefront - Saiki (So freaking funny) - One Punch Man (SO SO FREAKING FUNNY)

Was nice to see someone mention Angel Beats. Not too much KyoAni love though, eh? I think one person mentioned Violet Evergarden (which I have not seen myself). I guess it could also depend on when someone really got into anime. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya pretty much opened the gates for me (I wasn't into the Dragonball and Gundam shows which seemed to be on TV after school. Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo slipped past me until I got to them in the late 00s or early 2010s). So then I eventually watched, Clannad, K-On!, Kanon, Nichijou and a couple others from the studio. The guy who said Golden Boy seemed so spot on as a Golden Boy enjoyer haha.

Also Hunter x Hunter, Bleach and FMA brotherhood are huge favorites of mine

I agree with the girl who likes Fullmetal Alchemist's points. Such great female characters, some of the best in shonen anime! FMA is one of my all-time favourites, too! For me, my all-time favorite depends on if it's a series or a movie. The latter is complicated, and my answer would be likely to change daily (between multiple Ghibli films along with A Silent Voice and others). Series? Violet Evergarden, hands down. Honorable series mentions: 86, K-ON, Durarara, Your Lie in April, with a couple newer series looking really good: Spy x Family and Lycoris Recoil.

Berserk 2016? Did you mean the 1997 version or possibly the movies from 2012-2013? The 2016 and 2017 versions were pretty bad and 2016 skipped out on the Lost Children arc and the black swordsman arc, so if you're an anime only watcher, you were probably confused at the start.

sad reality, I am an anime fannatic, I have watched way too much anime, and what scares me is he asked "all time favourite" it is really hard to answer that question however if he had to ask who my favorite studio is I'd definitely say Ghibli Studio they are my Number 1 anime producers there is probably not a single anime from them that I haven't already watched and I'd definitely watch them 5 times over. The other issue for me is if someone had to ask my favorite anime I always tend to not mention the main streams because I feel if I mention them than I am not a real anime fan, I have watched most main stream shows and ofcourse they are great thats why they are main streamed, but there are exceptions on anime I haven't watched in the main stream simply because there is too much commitment to the amount of episodes like One Piece unless you were brought up with it or if you enjoy watching old school art styles and anime clichés than its great to get into.

Cardcaptor Sakura was a Studio Clamp title. It's hard to say if I have a single favorite, but the closest would be "Aria". Who could resist gondolas on the canals of Mars? It's a very beautiful and poetic title. My favorite comedies would be "Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu" or "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid." I'm not into sports, but I do like four titles. "South Kamakura High School Girls Bicycle Club", "Girls und Panzer", "Bamboo Blade" and "Taisho Baseball Girls". GuP would be my overall favorite, but I think "Taisho" is probably an objectively better series. My favorite high school drama, hands down, is "Hibike! Euphonium". I love the music. I also like the isekai title, "Ascendance of a Bookworm". There are other good ones, but . . . For quiet, but a little offbeat, domestic stories, I love "Hakumei and Mikochi" and "Mokke". I can also recommend "Binbou Shimai Monogatari".
