Hi, I’m here in England. I have very recently joined the emergency department at our NHS hospital and I am completely and utterly overwhelmed by it all. I am not newly qualified, but have only worked in the community district nursing and this has all been an emotional change. I left the community as I moved to a new part of the country and there was no community posts available. I feel that I have made a mistake and every shift I am in tears.

You got this, Carrie! And if it doesn’t work out, then realize it’s not the end of your world, just a learning experience :)

Attending EMS conferences are great too! Even if you do them online!

Hey there! Love the channel, I'm a cath lab nurse but I used to work in the er as a tech before I became a nurse. Love the content. Idk if I could ever go back to the er after being in the cath lab but it's really fun to listen to your rational and prioritization method. I might end up getting your study books just for a fun read. Great info, great energy, you would be fun to work with haha
