I know that so many of you started watching my journey from the time that I was really struggling with the fishpond, and that so many of you would love to see it succeed. But unfortunately, now is not the time. I am not ready. I have to let it standby for a while. I'll be totally honest with you about this that I don't know if or when I will be able to do something here again. I don't know what the future holds, but that's ok!

I am an industrial fisherman and have been fishing all my life. I know that breeding fish in freshwater ponds is much more difficult than breeding fish in sea water. Fresh water is not very stable, depending on the amount of precipitation and the water that feeds the pond. But I wish you success in growing telapia - it can live without water for some time buried in silt.

Make a few "Bahay kubo" and make your fishpond a resort. Put some bangus (not for fishpond) for tourists to fish - eat fresh fish - crabs - shrimp - oysters. Sell it ! Rent it ! Leave it the way it is - make it your life rejuvenation area. Make it your life reflection - a place where you can relax -solitude - re-boot. Mangroves are full of life, Life starts at the mangrove therefore life begins with you as species of the mangroves.

You could turn the fishpond into an eco-tourism operation with a smaller pond, where people can stay there, rent wee cottages or provide some camping ground, and basically catch their food from the pond, then go kayaking to explore the beautiful area. More people need to appreciate the beauty of nature, and that place you got there is perfect for it. The larger pond you could plant with mangroves: that will attract other marine life, and it would just be beautiful. Would also allow you to sell seedlings :)

Make it educational touristy farming place. I’m originally there in Davao oriental. You already visited banaybanay my hometown. I like the idea of fish farming and agri farming here.
