Such a lovely video with great tips! I loved all of the beautiful quotes you shared in the video. Also, which sunrise lamp do you use? I love the cozy vibe it gives in the morning, looking for a great one! ◡̈

Thank you so much! 🙏🏻🥰 The sunrise alarm I use is from amazon… It’s in my amazon storefront (under home decor/home items) -linked in the description. It’s one of the more affordable ones on amazon but it’s not the highest quality… I had never used a sunrise alarm before so I didn’t want to invest a lot without knowing if it would work for me 😅 this one is very light weight and plastic, but it serves its purpose!

This video made me think of two sayings: Life is what goes on while we are busy doing other things. If we don't make time for health, sooner or later we will have to make time for illness. And yes, I watched the whole video, it was amazing!!! ❤❤❤

Yes, I do… I love taking my time to drink my tea or juice, taking time to write in my gratitude journal, etc.. I try to have a relaxing morning… what I meant is that I don’t want to add a bunch of “to do’s” in the mornings, even if those things are relaxing because it would just make my mornings busier.. but I definitely do things that are relaxing to me in my mornings ❤️🥰

Thank you! I think it’s great that you try to support local businesses whenever possible… the trees being cut down is very unfortunate! It’s like they want to make it more difficult for us to be connected to nature.. it’s very sad! 😏

It is really interesting to me to see that slow living has trended over the past five years alone. I have always just called it "simple living" and would talk about slowing down. I am so glad that so many people have decided to do just that: slow down and enjoy their lives more. I put it together with my way of minimalistic lifestyle that I've lived for 17 years, but then I think to my childhood and how slow my life had been and I realize, I've been at this for much longer. Now I just have more purpose and intention to my life. Thanks for bringing that thought process to me today.

My dream has always been to live in a quiet place where you could hear the raindrops on the leaves instead of cars on the road in the morning. This is one of the first videos I’ve really seen about slow living and it really resonates with me! All my life, I’ve wanted to find a place to just be peaceful. I’m big into nature but also just taking my time to be with myself as that’s really important to me. Life is busy enough but it gets even more unpredictable when you’re neurodivergent. Peace, nature, silence are all things that I want in my life more. I’m not a regular baker or have much knowledge about supporting small business or the specifics of when things are in season etc. and I have lots to learn, but I think the main message is about making use of your time how you want to instead of rushing around and that’s so so important to me. I have a specific goal in mind - to find your place in a world that encourages you to run instead of walk. Beautiful video ❤

Your dream sounds just like my dream! 🙌🏻 Thank you for taking the time to write this comment and saying how this video resonated with you. As an occupational therapist, I’ve worked with many children with diagnoses that fall under the neurodivergent umbrella (mostly autism, ADHD, ADD, down syndrome) and I understand how they experience many things in life differently, especially those with sensory processing disorders. I think you got the main message of the video just right! 👌🏻❤️

Dear Claudia, thank you so much for your beautiful video. It is so inspirational. For me, slow living is being present in the moment. Watching, smelling, listening, feeling each season of the year, sunshine, rain, snow... For me it is about the emotions. Because this is, what your body remembers - the good or bad emotions. It is about storing positive memories. And being thankful for what you have. It is about using all your senses. It is about to exhale. Not necessary to be alone (I am an ambivert). But being by yourself very important too, to "tidy up" your thoughts alone. Let´s just enjoy. Love your channel so much! And it´s growing! yepeee 😍Kisses to your sweet doggies. XX Daniela P.S. The pressed flowers into a "C" are stunning! P.S.2 Elisabeth Gilbert is great!🥰🤩

I don’t think I’ve read any books about slow living specifically… but I know there are some good ones! In general, I have a lot of favorite books.. all different genres… but these are a few of the books that have had a positive impact in my life: -A new earth by Eckhart Tolle -The monk who sold his ferrari by Robin Sharma -The four agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz

It appears you have money and means to live an ambling, no work lifestyle. Most of us do not. Being an introvert is a struggle not a curated or trendy existence. It is a struggle to connect with others making it very difficult to build a life with another person. After watching some of your content, I feel there is something disingenuous in your vlogs.
@slowlifestories
5 ай бұрын
Yikes! You’re judging and making assumptions that are simply incorrect… 1. If you think you need to have “money and means” to lead a slow lifestyle, then you have taken nothing out of this video… 2. I don’t have a no work lifestyle, I work in the healthcare field. 3. I film my videos on weekends and edit during the week nights 4. My videos are meant to be relaxing and inspiring. If you can’t relate to them, and find them too curated you don’t have to watch them! 5. Introversion isn't a one-size-fits-all experience, and not all introverts struggle to build a life with another person. While introverts may have a preference for solitude and introspection, it doesn't mean they necessarily struggle to connect with others, especially when those connections are meaningful. 6. As for your last sentence, that’s your opinion and all I can suggest is that you go watch another channel ✌🏼

It appears she allocates her time as she likes. She also has a full time job. Your experience as an introvert may be different than others. I’m an introvert yet - I love these vlogs. I also have raised kids and work..blah blah…. People make time for what they truly enjoy.
