Imo, he just brought a mid-round voice to their system. Everyone else seems pretty quiet while hooxi is calling alone. So if niko can help with midrounds when they get back to full roster their floor atleast could come up a good bit.

Styko, what you said about them trying to punish stewie for taking bananna on T side, it seemed like everytime they tried to fight it on a gun round they lost. Dump a bunch of util to kill stewie/apex spam, niko or monesy there to trade/do damage and then B site is weak which forces a rotate and G2 could go anywhere they wanted. But with Vitality playing passive stewie could hold at least 2 people B and then they could mid round where ever G2 chose to go. It is probably the smart choice by apex, but the Niko/Monesy came in a fragged. It really looked like by Stewie taking space and forcing fights allowed Niko to elevate his play a bunch. I guess this is kinda what they are hoping to bring in with Malbs, someone to create an opportunity in the rounds so their stars can fight in advantagoues positions vs what was happening before with niko/monesy having to try and make plays themselves.

IMO, Stew is overrated on this win. Why gim him the credit while he always dies and seldom perform. It's monesy who aims and frags hence he's the MVP. Monesy review is more important for us to learn how he thinks and clutches. more power

Spacing and control is just as important as aim and fragging. This was more about the mental spacing that stewie is doing

next you will say, "how could you know how hooxi would have played in those scenarios? he was never at this event. are you hooxi? i dont think he knows how he would've played it bc he was not there. do you have a doctor strange fucking time machine that can portal you into an alternate universe where you're hooxi, he's at IEM Dallas, and you can verifiably confirm that he would indeed not make the plays that stewie did? please do tell, you fucking knob." tell me im wrong LMAO.
@dixonyamada6969
3 ай бұрын
and the counter to this is easy, dear richard. no, i do not have a doctor strange time travelling portal into an alternate universe where hooxi is in IEM Dallas - nor do i need this physics-defying piece of technology to prove you wrong. you see, RocketLeague-ewisSports, i'd like to think launders and styko know what they're talking about, given how they have infinitely more hours in high level counter strike than you do, and can analyze the game, recognize player-specific patterns and tendencies down to the micro micro level (which you can attribute to the ungodly amount of hours they have scrimming, competing, and doing vod reviews), even down to the little things like, "oh, stewie forgot it was MR12, which is why he probably stayed banana for too long", or things like "seems like vitality used the crowd there to identify the flank." - crowd usage, which happened once again in one particular replay of a round on anubis, as apex told his teammate "when you hear the crowd, peek" - and he did just that, and vitality got the kill, defused, and won the round. did the hltv stat page say that richie leward? no. it didnt. fkwad.
