I've said it before, and I'll say it again. If I have to use a blade, it's going to be my Karambit I got years ago. And that's only if they're too close for me to draw my firearm I've trained to use my Karambit in combat and used it in the field overseas to defend myself against other style knives. What it lacks in any sense of defense, it makes up for in easy ability to slit your opponents throat

I think I'd go with either a cane sword (I need a cane in my early 20s so I may as well make the most of it) or a flyssa because it straddles the line between dagger and sword. It's also relatively thin and thus easy to conceal, and due to the low profile of the blade, it can be used as a stabbing weapon should the situation call for it.

Sword cane for me fashionable,semi concealed and convenient walking stick if sheathed. Also if there's a locking assembly on the cane portion to act as a safety of sorts and if its strong enough you can have the handle be made of some heavy duty metal and swing the thing like a mace.

@Kriegh Kamaru ty for the advice. I'm looking into having a custom built by burger canes so the steel hopefully shouldn't be an issue. plus, I can have them add a cross gaurd and make the grip ovular so my edge alignment isn't shit

@MarcusVance
2 жыл бұрын
It sounds good in practice, but the brass knuckles limit how you can hold the blade.
@thebanditman5663
2 жыл бұрын
@@MarcusVance This is true. But there's no real other way to hold original trench knives without sacrificing something from them. The skull cracker is best used when directed down for hammer fisting, the knuckles are self explanatory, and the original blades were more like a shank. Less cut, more thrust. I sort of see the longer thicker blade as more of a method to gain a little range and give the weapon the ability to cut, without making it too large like a gladius because of the already increased weight of the knuckle.
