I done been name dropped oh mai o////o That bittersweet ending haunted me ever since, too. And if it helps at all, I don't think the AI minds that no one knows about them. That it doesn't get credit for being the real hero of Paldea. I imagine it might find such a thing wholly unnecessary. It just cares about Paldea being as it should be, and the treasure it can now freely seek. This ending didn't slap me as hard as it slapped you, but Arven and the robot that could have been his better parent haunt me, and I feel you. Don't bid me adieu ooghh auuuugh haven't I suffered enough sads already ;-;

I know they would likely consider it unnecessary to be recognized for their heroism, but how much would or should be known?

There's no doubt that the AI robot parents love Arven, they just don't know how to do it. It's obvious that they care about their son and try to protect him. I really don't like that most players regard AI robot parents as evil people and end the chapter with a simple conclusion. The game Pokémon ZA will be released next year. I hope it will have some related content, but it will be more like a follow-up to XY? I really hope that the Pokémon series can have an AI-related future world.

@@小雷瑟 exactly, they're different people from the professors! And when they fight us, it's because they got taken over by a ferocious security program. They even tell us that their own desires are overridden--they don't WANT to fight us and beseech us to stop them. I would love a game that has both of them. I want so much for them to be happy, and if they can meet, the only other person who can truly understand them, so's the better.
