Hi Darren, just want to say thank you so much for all of your videos. I found your channel by chance a few months ago and I'm so glad that I did. I'm studying for my ATPL theory exams here in Europe at the moment and working full time on top, which isnt always easy. Your videos are really motivational and help me keep focused on the end goal. Looking forward to more future content.

If we are late we would use the highest number that made sense fuel and ride wise. In this example “we’re giving it all she’s got” and can only hope for a quick taxi and better winds.

Huh, whenever we are running behind, we just adjust the Mach/IAS on the VNAV page, never thought to adjust the CI

That only adjust one phase of flight. CI does climb, cruise and descent.

@geekinthecockpit5451 true, but usually we have to change the descent speed anyway to comply with the STAR
